Soulja Boy’s Claims Of Writing “Whip My Hair” Up For Dispute

Soulja Boy certainly had us fooled after proclaiming himself via twitter as the rightful author of Willow Smith’s debut hit “Whip My Hair.”

YES ITS TRUE I WROTE ‘WHIP MY HAIR’ FOR WILLOW SMITH,” Soulja Boy tweeted. “THATS WHY SHE SAYS HOP OUT THE BED TURN MY SWAG ON. WE GETTING $$$ 2011 NO GAMES.”

Outraged at the false statement, Ronald “Jukebox” Jackson, one of the rightful songwriters and part of producer  Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins camp, has come forth.  Jukebox created a Youtube video with the audio of him rapping over the original beat, slamming Soulja Boy’s words.

Darkchild also responded via Twitter saying,

My house must be POPPIN! cuz i had NO IDEA soulja was in my house when i did that song! #invisibleswag??”

After his latest album The DeAndre Way went brick, it seems Soulja Boy is trying to keep himself relevant any way possible at this point…SMH

“Soulja say he ghostwrote it ’cause that’s right he wasn’t there,” raps Jukebox.
