Oklahoma State Baller Charged With Rape

Oklahoma State’s Darrell Williams faces rape charges

Darrell Williams, starting forward for Oklahoma State University’s basketball team has gone from taking charges to being charged.

OSU suspended the 21-year-old junior after discovering that he was charged with four felony counts involving two women.

Williams is accused of holding two women against their will while he reached into their pants at an off-campus party on December 12th. The felonies include one count of sexual battery and three counts of rape by instrumentation.   Two of the rape by instrumentation counts involve the same woman.

None of his teammates were charged, although the police affidavits allege several attended the party and at one point “surrounded” one of the women and are on the list as potential witnesses.

OSU Coach, Travis Ford stated, “It goes without saying that we take the charges very seriously…Darrell will not travel or play while the legal issues are addressed.”

Darrell’s attorney declined a comment after his court hearing, and he is now free on a $5,000 bond. He is due in court again March 7th.

The forward is a transfer from Midland Junior college and was averaging 7.1 points and 7.3 rebounds in his first season at OSU.
