Morehouse student suing Usher for song rights

Singer/songwriter, Kameron Glasper, signed a publishing deal in 2009 with Legendary Poets Music Publishing supposedly because he was told they were the only ones that Usher Raymond’s representatives would negotiate with.

Glasper signed on for 10 songs, and is seeking total ownership of the record “Monster,” which he allegedly wrote and was recorded by Usher and appears on his latest LP, Raymond Vs. Raymond

According to the suit filed in DeKalb County Superior Court,  the song has seven writers and none of them are the Morehouse student.

He wishes to dissolve their contract, own 100 percent of the songs he wrote and be reimbursed for lawyer fees.

Apparently the young Glasper was never told he was entering the business of music.

Good luck brother.
