The Rock Returns To WWE
The Rock announced Monday his return to wrestling Monday on an episode of WWE Raw, ending a nearly ten long absence in the world of professional wrestling.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took a famous break from the sport to focus on his acting career after landing roles in movies “The Scorpion King”, “Walking Tall” and “Gridiron Gang.”
Last night the 38-year-old stepped out to awaiting fans and promised to not only return but to “never ever” leave again.
“You helped me accomplish my dreams because you never left my side,” Johnson said. “Thank you, I love you!”
He added,
“Finally! The Rock has come back home!”
The Rock will host WrestleMania XXVI at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga., on April 3.
