The Cast Of Love And Hip-Hop Sits Down With Miss Info
As the March 14 premiere for VH1’s “Love And Hip-Hop” docu-series approaches, the cast is speaking further on their ongoing beefs and relationships with famous rappers.
As previously reported, the series features Swizz Beatz’ ex-wife Mashonda, Jim Jones‘ girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin, Fabolous‘ girl Emily Bustamante, the former first lady of G-Unit Olivia, and Somaya “Boss” Reece.
Four of the cast members—Somaya, Chrissy, Olivia and Emily all checked in with Hot 97’s Miss Info on separate occasions to dish details.
According to the mother of Fabolous’ son Emily Bustamante, she had no idea that the show would focus so much on her famous boyfriend.
“You know, it sounded very positive. I never thought in the beginning that it would be so much about Fab. I just thought, “Okay, they want to see the lifestyle, show me working,”…and as taping started it, started to like-…“ (Miss Info interrupts) “Shift into your personal life.” [laughs]
Chrissy Lampkin, Jim Jones’ girlfriend that eventually proposes to him on the series, also revealed that she and Somaya Reece had issues from the beginning.

According to Lampkin, Reece, the up and coming rapper who previously dated Joe Budden, was introduced to her while recording in the studio with Jones.
“I really didn’t know her from anywhere, and the way it was set up for us to meet was a little stressful. It wasn’t an easy introduction. You know, they kind of set it up to be messy. They tried to like, stick her in the studio with Jimmy, and tried to make her somebody that I would be intimidated by.”
Reece is also seen getting into an altercation on the show with Olivia on whose eyes she threatens to “roll into the back of her head.”
