As part of Major League Baseball’s Civil Rights Game Week, DTP King Ludacris will have a one hour headline performance on May 14th at Atlanta’s Turner Field.
The event, which runs from Thursday, May 12th until Sunday, May 15th, is a week where MLB honors civil rights activists.
Ludacris spoke on his contribution to the cause, and shared what the performance meant to him.
“I’m a fan of baseball, and I am honored to be a part of MLB’s family and tradition of being a pioneering organization for civil rights, social justice and equity,” says Luda.
“I have studied the strides made in baseball and in sports, and the impact they have had on social issues affecting race and race relations in America. The Civil Rights Game Week is a celebration of those achievements and a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to continue leveling the playing field for all.”
