Lil Wayne Asking For $12.9 Million For South Florida Home

Rapper Lil Wayne may be looking to take care of his recent tax troubles with one fell swoop as the Young Money head recently put his Miami mansion up for sale for over twice what he owes the IRS.

The rapper recently put a $12.9 million price tag on his 9-bedroom 9-bathroom player’s pad located on La Gorce Island, according to AOL Real Estate.

Weezy bought the home just last year for $14 million.

The 15,101 square-foot layout has three levels that include a two-story master suite complete with glass elevator. The home also has a 3-car garage, swimming pool, 3-bedroom guesthouse and features waterfront views.

“If you take into account recent home sales within the past 12 months on La Gorce Island, Lil Wayne’s home is priced to sell,” local real estate agent Andre Shambley said.

“My prediction is that with the tax lien that is now looming, a buyer is going to come make him an offer he can’t refuse.”
