On the heels of a re-release of his West Coast classic, The Chronic, Dr. Dre is taking his latest business venture across the pond. Dre and Monster have already gained national attention for their “Beats By Dre” headphone line designed to fashionably enhance the music listening experience through high-quality sound emitters. Now the media company and the Hip-Hop icon are collaborating to expand their product line to the European market. The brand is expanding their European market through a special edition of the headphones featuring British pop star, Lady Gaga.

Gaga’s “Heartbeats” headphones were specially designed by the singer and feature pitch perfecting technology and extra bass. “Heartbeats” will be available in October. Additionally, the line also features the newly released “Beats Solo” headphones featuring “ControlTalk” technology. The new technology allows users to use a special microphone to control their music playing device and answer phone calls hands-free.

The successful “Beats By Dre” product line is already a popular choice nationwide and is set to gain a new following though a collaboration with Hewlett Packard. Dre and Jimmy Iovine of Interscope Records are teaming up with Hewlett Packard to improve digital music’s sound quality through the line. Hewlett Packard is set to release laptops, software and the trademark “Beats By Dre” headphones. Iovine confirmed to CNET News that they were working to improve the “digital music ecosystem” from the sound file to the computer to the headphones.

While fans can pump up the volume on Dre’s old material, they will still have to hang on for the release of Dre’s long awaited, Detox album. A release date for the album is still widely unknown.
