Tyler, The Creator’s Goblin Album Leaks, Tyler Reacts
Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator got an unofficial welcoming to the music business when his highly anticipated Goblin album leaked on the internet last night.
Album leaks aren’t anything new in the music industry, and since Goblin was officially released in the UK today, it’s almost an accomplishment that his album didn’t leak weeks in advance like most albums do.
Still, the Odd Future front man had some words for fans scrambling to find a download link for his new album.
“People Are Going Crazy Tryna Find The Leak To GOBLIN. It Comes Out Soon, And Took This Long To ‘Leak’ Good Job Tyler And XL. 5.10.11,” Tyler tweeted last night.
The Creator wasn’t done there as he tweeted, “FawkING LOSERS,” moments later.
“It Will be In Like, Target And Best Buy And Isht Like That 5.10.11. You Could Wait Instead Of Downloading Celine Dion And Shaq Songs,” he followed.
‘So Fawking Awkward Right Now…….I Don’t Know How To Feel…….I’ll Just Get Off The Internet.”
Once an album leaks, it’s out, Tyler. There’s nothing you can do about it but let the people listen, and hope they enjoy the music enough to pick it up when it hits stores (we’re listening to it in the hiphopwired.com office now).
Goblin will be released in the U.S. on May 11th.
