Mos Def Lands Reoccurring Role On ‘Dexter’
Rapper/actor Mos Def continues to expand his acting portfolio, as the duel threat entertainer will have a reoccurring role in the upcoming season of the Showtime series Dexter.
Def will play the role of an ex-con who has found God but continually finds himself surrounded by violence in the morbid series.
The upcoming sixth season starring actor Michael C. Hall is scheduled to air 12 episodes. Production of the new season is scheduled to begin in June.
Dexter follows the exploits of Hall as Dexter Morgan, and employee of the Miami Metro PD who lives a double life killing murderers.
Mos already has prime time television experience having previously played roles on NYPD Blue, House M.D. and The Cosby Mysteries.
