Trump Backs Out Of Presidential Race
Donald Trump announced Monday that he will not run for president in 2012. (Thank God!)
Trump, who has been critically of President Obama, hasn’t had much to say since Obama put an end to the “birther issue” and Trump’s request to see the President’s birth certificate, had the following to say:
“I will not be running for president, as much as I’d like to,” he said during an event in New York to announce NBC’s fall network lineup.
“[The decision] does not come easily or without a regret,” he continued.
“I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half-heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.”
Trump will continue to host the hit NBC show “The Apprentice,” but we won’t have to worry about seeing his horrid toupee on the campaign trail next year.
How Trump can be one of the richest men in America, but have the worst looking hair piece is one of the greatest mysteries in U.S. history.
But that’s an article for another day.
