Although it’s been years, devoted Cash Money fans can prep their ears for another onslaught of “beat-thumping” production from the man behind the music. Mannie Fresh is stepping back on the scene after a brief hiatus, this time with the help of Deep Entertainment. The super producer is moving his “Chubby Boy Records” label to the Deep Entertainment family, a move set to launch his label executive career to new heights. The New Orleans head honcho plans to broaden his horizons in music and work on his next release, Return of Ballin. Following that, he’ll introduce the world to the new artists on his Chubby Boy Records roster including The Show.

Along with Fresh, the Deep family is bringing along a bizarre brotherly duo from Atlanta that introduced the world to the true meaning of “Get Low.” If you’ve missed the Ying Yang Twins and their hyper ghetto antics then the wait is over. Just shy of four years under the radar, their new album, Ying Yang Twins Forever hits stores September 15. Kaine and D-Rock are back this time with the backing of Deep Records.

If the “Deep” name sounds familiar, it’s because it is. They’re responsible for DJ Drama’s classic “Gangsta Grillz” series. For die-hard southern Hip-Hop heads, this news should be more than exciting. Mannie Fresh and The Ying Yang Twins? I smell an “old-south” resurrection in the works! Now all we need is Juve and Lil Jon to really bring this thing back…
