Trustees Of Notorious B.I.G. Estate Sign With Branding Agency

Trustees of the Notorious B.I.G.’s estate have signed with licensing agency Brand Sense Partners in a deal that will brand B.I.G.’s name.

According to reports, trustees include B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace and widow Faith Evans, and control over licensing and merchandising of products containing the late rapper’s name, likeness, and legacy are the focal points of the deal.

“The family and I are excited to move forward with the exceptional team at BSP,” Biggie’s former manager Wayne Barrow said in a statement. “Their understanding of Christopher’s cultural impact as well as their vision for our brand mission made them the best partner possible for the task. We look forward to working hand in hand with them to build on Christopher’s unique legacy.”

BSP also stated that they hoped to “leverage the untapped equity in his brand.”

Reports didn’t say if Sean “Diddy” Combs is a trustee in the estate, but hopefully B.I.G.’s people are wise enough to keep the man calling himself “SWAG” for a week, as far away from any deals concerning Biggie Smalls as possible.

Just ask Nicki Minaj.
