Antonio Bucio Arrested In Shooting Of Girls As Chicago Police Declare War On Maniac Latin Disciples

According to the Chicago Tribune, gang member Antonio Bucio, 22, told authorities he was aiming at rivals when he hit two young girls playing in a Northwest Side park, prosecutors said Saturday.

Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Melissa Howlett said Bucio hopped out of a van, threw up a gang sign and began firing. Eight witnesses identified Bucio as the shooter of a 2-year-old and a 7-year-old girl. The older girl is in stable condition while other has been upgraded to “good.”

Bucio is facing two felony counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and use of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Maybe labeling your gang the Maniac Latin Disciples puts a target on your head.

So now this shooting has made the maniacs the number one target of police Superintendent Garry McCarthy. “The entire organization is going to be held accountable for the actions of one,” McCarthy said.  “We are going to arrest every member of that outfit … on whatever charges we can come up with. It’s going to be ongoing and relentless.”

The organization McCarthy is speaking of is the Maniac Latin Disciples and according to the Chicago Sun Times, the Chicago police are coming after them hard.

Bucio, who showed up in court with a bandage covering his “D” tattoo on his face is being held without bail and may have set off a chain reaction that has made his crew the mission of the Chi-town police force.
