Lil Wayne Talks Touring, Releasing New Mixtape

Fans of Lil Wayne will be excited to know that the Young Money head has no plans of giving up music and in fact wants to tour “forever.”

The rapper was recently spotted by MTV on his I AM Music II Tour where he explained that he wants to follow in the footsteps of Michael Jackson and U2 and adds that he wouldn’t mind performing nightly in Las Vegas.

“I actually plan on being one of those artists that can go on a tour when they’re like 40, like U2, Michael. I actually plan on being one of those artists, with all the music and all the work I’m putting out, I believe that later on down the line, I can do Vegas. I can be the first hip-hop artist to do Vegas every night. That’s the plan.”

Weezy also says he wouldn’t mind a continuous tour schedule even when he’s 50 years old.

“I plan on touring forever, actually,” he said. “Probably when I’m like 50, I might be like, ‘Let’s go, gimme some dates.’ “

In related news, Wayne’s cohort Mack Maine confirmed on Twitter that a new mixtape would be released while fans continue to wait for Tha Carter IV.

While details are scarce, rapper Lil B previously confirmed that he was featured on the new project.
