HipHopWired caught up with pro skateboarder Terry Kennedy at the BET awards this weekend.
The ex-boyfriend of Angela Simmons spoke on a number of topics including the important role Hip-Hop plays in his sport.
“That’s one thing I love about skateboarding, it’s so many so different cultures. I grew up skating and all the music I heard was Hip-Hop….I always grew up off Hip-Hop and I love it. “
The pro skater also spoke on his love for fashion,
“It’s just like basketball, you have to wear comfortable clothes so you can do what you have to do.”
