Diddy has become the latest celebrity to join Dr. Dre and Monster's “Beats By Dre” line.

Diddy recently made the official announcement at the CES consumer technology conference in Las Vegas.

While the official release date for Diddy's headphones, the ‘Diddy Beats' is unknown, they are expected to retail for $149.

Additionally, Dre's Beats by Dre are expounding with the “Special Edition Beats Solo Headphone.”

$5 of the sales for each special edition headphone will go directly to AIDS awareness campaign (RED) to benefit AIDS programs in Africa.

The Solo Beats will retail for $229.95.

Pharrell, N.E.R.D.'s front man and  ½ of the legendary Neptunes,  is continuing to make original music for Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's upcoming 3-D CGI feature “Despicable Me.

This marks the first time Pharell has composed music for a film. He is joined in the feature's composition duties by Oscar® winner Hans Zimmer and Heitor Pereira.

Pharrell produced the title track for the movie featured below.

In addition to the title track,

R&B crooners Trey Songz, Tank and LeToya Luckett will be starring in the film “The Preacher's Kid” which opens on January 29^th.  Luckett stars  as "Angie King," a 20-something daughter of a minister who, "longing to experience more of life – and with dreams of fame and fortune in her mind – she strikes out on her own for the very first time, joining a traveling gospel show.

She soon discovers, though, that life on the road is tough; but even more, she fears going home with nothing to show for herself, or worse, to a father who might no longer love her."

Controversy is still swirling surrounding Lil Wayne's debut rock album. The release date for Rebirth is continuing to be disputed after being pushed back nearly a year.
