President Obama is going forward with his push to outline a new gun control policy, heading to Minneapolis to visit the police department’s special operations centers. The president is looking to place a ban on assault weapons, in wake of the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December.

A California collision between a tour bus and a two vehicles, killed at least eight, and injured more than 40 Sunday (Feb.3). The massive crash, on a stretch of highway near Yucaipa, happened at around 6:30 p.m.
