June promises a lot of quality music. Outside of the obvious projects, fans will receive a collaborative album from Prodigy and The Alchemist called Albert Einstein on June 11. With days to go before it releases, the duo deliver a cinematic visual for a track called “YNT” that’s set appear on their independent LP.

Despite the issues that have been going on between Mobb Deep, Prodigy has been releasing quality music on his own.

Prodigy shares a sick new cut called “Give Em Hell.” Havoc just dropped a new solo record called “Tell Me To My Face” last week, so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that his Mobb Deep co-d, we hope, drops one of his own, too.

Last year, fans bore witness as the one time band duo of brothers, Mobb Deep, hurled harsh words, diss tracks and threats at one another. The agonizingly public breakup of the legendary M-O-B-B ended like a bitter divorce, rather than two men whose collaborative spirit reached its amicable end. The days of the “dunn language” looked to […]

Canadian producer Illatracks recently sat in the lab with Prodigy of the legendary M-O-B-B to create a hell of a track, titled “Strung Out.” An eerie string arrangement rings through modest drums, as Banana Clip P confesses his addiction to Hip-Hop and likens his relationship with the culture to a drug fiend. “Strung Out” is […]

The status of Mobb Deep may be in limbo, but Prodigy is still making moves. The “Keep It Thoro” rapper recently linked with footwear and apparel company Supra and added his design touch to a couple of the brand’s sneaker models.

The implosion of Mobb Deep has been one of the most peculiar sagas in Hip-Hop. The two, who were once damn near attached at the hip, are now essentially a done deal mostly due to the vicious darts thrown from Havoc toward Prodigy. P kept a relatively low profile about addressing the situation.

For the time being, it seems like Mobb Deep is no more. However, that hasn’t stopped Prodigy from continuing to get this work by dropping new work off of H.N.I.C. 3.  “Without Rhyme Or Reason” is the opening track off of his latest album, which is available on iTunes right now.

While the other half of Mobb Deep continues to throw occasional, and classless shots his way, Prodigy goes about handling his music business. Bandana P drops a video for “Live,” off his recently released H.N.I.C. 3 album. Actually, the visual plays more like a mini-movie as the Queensbridge rapper practices some sadistic interrogation techniques in […]

Well, this is awkward. Only moments after Prodigy’s (former) partner in crime Havoc admitted that those vicious Twitter disses towards P weren’t a hacker and in fact him, Prodigy took on The Backroom on BET’s 106 & Park. If you haven’t been following The Backroom freestyles lately on 106 & Park, BET is trying to […]

Prodigy stopped through The Breakfast Club and as usual talked about a gang of topics. From his book (he also has two more in the works), the infamous (pun intended) photo Jay-Z threw up on the Summer Jam screen and the real story of his “beef” with Havoc.
