Veteran rhyme slinger Busta Rhymes turned heads last November after signing a deal with Cash Money Records. Now waving the YMCMB flag after blazing the charts for years as both a feature and solo act, Bussa Bus got candid in a new interview about joining Cash Money and how Google Music got involved on the deal as well.

MTV2's Sucker Free sat with Busta Rhymes as he gushed about his new alliance with Cash Money and Google Music. “The label situation is phenomenal," said Busta Rhymes. “It's a marriage that I feel is a genuine one, and it's a deal that's the first of it's kind. We sat at the round table and created something that's a one of one. Partnering Google and Cash Money together and being able to make a merge that is unlike anything that's ever existed in music.”

Busta Rhymes went into slight detail about Google's involvement; comparing the Internet giant's foray into music to Apple's iTunes platform and Amazon's music retail system. “Google ain't really trying to just sell music, they're trying to create a new way to share music,” shared Busta. “They're also trying to create new ways for artists to have a platform to expose their music, because they ain't just doing deals with artist that's known. “

Busta went on to explain that Google Music provides a place for artists to not only sell their product, but also puts millions of dollars of marketing and promotion dollars behind the projects. “I ain't never seen that before. I ain't never seen any label spend $15, $20 million dollars on marketing, promoting and campaigning your project digitally alone. That's unheard of,” said an excited Busta Rhymes.

Gucci Mane checked in with HOt 107.9 Atlanta and addressed a few topics including getting career and financial advise on the regular from Birdman and Master P and if Yung Joc and Gorilla Zoe would be joing his label. La Flare also touched on his relationship with Big Meech, which many assumed was non-existent because of the previous history with Gucci and Young Jeezy. However, the B.M.F. head did appear on Gucci's new mixtape Trap Back.

The "Lemonade" rapper also delved in on his new movie being shot by Mr. Boomtown featuring Rocko, Waka and Shawty Shawty which will show the rapper's comedic side this summer. In the candid interview, he also talks about the supposed beef between him and Waka Flocka. "That's my brother," Gucci told Emperor Searcy and Miss. Shanika. "We were in the studio last night recording. He working on his new album. Everything's Gucci but between me and Waka, we gone always bump heads sometimes because we like brothers. But we always get past it so no mater what we go through and what you hear we always get past it. We dedicated to each other because no matter what we get into it about, we try and work it out."

Gucci also talked about his fallen comrade Slim Dunkin, who was murdered in December, and how a star was eclipsed on the heels of success. "Slim was an all around great guy and one of the most loyal people I ever met," said Gucci. "He was an unbelievable talent and I hate that he lost his life so young because he was on his way to big things. He was the next thing coming out The A... hands down. Other rappers were embracing him and passing him the torch... doing features for him, cameos...allowing him to get on their songs. He had a great shot. "

Eb The Celeb

My vote is for Big K.R.I.T. I feel lyrically, with his story telling, charisma, humility and the fact that he comes off as a really good dude that he has the potential to be around for a long time. I don't necessarily feel his debut will be this huge commercial hit (similar to T.I.'s I'm Serious), but the career that T.I. has had since then, I feel emulates what Krit's will blossom in to. He also makes his own beats, which also favor his longevity.

Melanie Sims

Kendrick Lamar for $1000, Alex. At this very moment, somebody's enjoying that "Buried Alive" interlude from Drake's Take Care, and they have no clue that they're listening to Kendrick Lamar. He's underground famous -- not famous famous -- which is unfortunate since the masses could benefit from adding a little O(verly) D(edicated) or Section.80 to their iTunes library. Kendrick also seems to have more heart than he has ego. There's a rawness and thoughtfulness to his lyrics that the game could always use more of. Please see: "Ignorance is Bliss," "Keisha's Song (Her Pain)"...
