Game is currently facing a civil action lawsuit from Shannon Rodrick, an L.A. basketball coach who claims Game punched him and threatened him with a weapon on school grounds in 2007.

In defense of their client, lawyers for the Game have filed court papers asking all references of him as a “gangster rapper” to not be used in court.

Court documents refer to Game as a “gangster rapper” a total of 86 times, which according to lawyers could sway a jury into a guilty verdict.

According to TMZ, they're also asking that none of his lyrics or songs be mentioned because they contain violence and profanity.

In between trying to clean up his image in court, Game is still planning to release his R.E.D. album.

The album was supposed to hit stores in December around the Christmas holiday but was pushed back to January before settling on an April 20 release date.

He also recently announced his return to his old home at Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records.

Apparently, 50 Cent was taking notes as well as he plans to infuse some more international appeal and sound as he begins to work on his fifth solo project Black Magic.

Probably realizing that the aggressive content is starting to become obsolete to the consumer, 50 seems to have resorted to a new game plan for his upcoming project.

Hip-Hop music might have initially been meant for the streets, but it's clearly not what is going to the local stores to actually buy the product.

During an interview with DopeMoney, the rapper spoke on his reasoning for such a left turn and who could appreciate such a shift.

“If they can understand how I enjoy different genres of music and different styles, for the people who have various tastes in music, they'll really like it.”

The eight-week campaign is titled “Let's Be Amazing” and features Dr. Dre in his recording studio expounding on the benefits of the HP Beats computing system.

In addition to the commercial featuring the Aftermath CEO, comedian Rhys Darby and photographer Annie Leibovitz among others are also scheduled to be featured in the campaign.

“The laptop is the new stereo for a lot of people and that's why we're putting out this computer with incredible sound,” Dr. Dre said of his new notebook PC.

The spots are part of Hewlett-Packard's attempt to redefine itself to their consumer base, in addition to giving the company some “personality and distinction.”

The producer's HP ENVY 15 Beats limited edition notebook PC is a collaboration between Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine of Interscope and HP's engineers.

Apparently, there have come to be some stipulations in regards to Game and his upcoming album The R.E.D. Album, as delegated by Dre.

Sources are reporting that Game will not be allowed to throw any disses at 50 Cent on the album.  Their original falling out was allegedly, in part, due to the beef that had brewed between Game and 50 after he was kicked out of G-Unit.

This would, however, go to show that Dre isn't actually teaming with Game again to deliver a bitter jab towards 50 as some may have speculated before.

Rumors have been circulating that the relationship between 50 Cent and Dre isn't what the media portrays and it is only through Eminem why the two are able to co-exist.  I

n regards to such statements, neither side has issued a statement, but Dre working on Before I Self Destruct and 50 reportedly on Detox should be an indication that the two are playing nice.

According to published reports, G-Unit associate and 50 Cent's assistant, Dwayne McKenzie is being accused by his ex-girlfriend, Shana Chin, of playing a role in the torching of the mansion.

The 5,200-square-foot home that was gutted by a suspicious fire was at the center of an antagonistic legal battle between the rapper and his former girlfriend.

According to Chin, she was dating McKenzie, who now lives at the multi-million-dollar mansion; and testified that McKenzie often carried a gun and had talked of torching a house that belonged to the rapper's ex-girlfriend.

Once the report surfaced, McKenzie's attorney fired back, stating that Chin, who is currently suing McKenzie for damages and medical bills, is a greedy, fame-hungry woman out for money and the chance to meet rap stars.

McKenzie, who has yet to respond to the allegations personally, was also arrested in August of 2009 for allegedly assaulting another woman [not Chin] in 50 Cent's Long Island mansion.

Lastonia Leviston is suing Jackon, claiming that he unlawfully distributed her homemade sex tape over the Internet and edited himself into the footage draped as a wig-wearing narrator.

Filing the lawsuit Wednesday in Manhattan, Leviston is making allegations that her name and image was used without authorization and has resulted in emotional distress due to the public release of the video.

Many people are starting to wonder if this is the same sex tape that Jackson stated was one of Ross' baby mothers.  According to Leviston, the footage featured herself and her lover and was taped back in 2008.

Although Leviston can be identified in the footage, the lover's face is blurred out.

There has been no word from the camp of 50 Cent and his lawyer has yet to respond to phone messages looking for comments on this particular mishap.
