Reported earlier, Lupe Fiasco stated the admiration and respect that he has for Jay Electronica and his ability to rhyme.

He took it so far to say that he was fighting for the two to come together and create a collaborative effort for both lyricists to sink their teeth into.

It didn't take too long to get a response from Elec as the New Orleans rapper accepted and even added that people should expect to hear some noise from them much sooner that one would think.

Speaking with Brooklyn Bodega, Jay gave his R.S.V.P while giving Lupe credit for his own work,

“We going to be on a track together in the immediate future. Thats my brother. He reached out. I got bad phone etiquette so it took me a minute to reach back. But we gonna reach, we gonna talk. We've been in communication and we're going to work. Thats my brother. And his sword is magnificent and he's a great god at what he does, you know what I'm saying. We're going to connect.”

Bad phone etiquette might not be the only issue to deal with. Bringing up the project Act II is easily able to raise a few flags in regards to the rapper and his problem with procrastination.

Let's knock out that first project before we even go on to the next one. The last thing Jay needs is to have his focus displaced even more.

While the world of Hip Hop twiddles their thumbs in anticipation for the drop of Just Blaze and Jay Electronica's joint effort Act II, this will have to hold everyone over until it drops, whenever that happens to be.

With the positive response from Exhibit C, Electronica takes it back to the first with the visual for Exhibit A (Transformations). Unlike the usual Hip Hop music video, thankfully, the rapper had the shoot done in Nepal/Dubai and it actually appears that the video will actually have some substance to it and not the usual ‘I'm gonna rap and look gangsta'.

The video was directed by Jason Goldwatch and cinematography was handled by Robot The Magnificent. Unfortunately a teaser, now there's more to wait for from Jay.

“We had it ready to go on New Years, but we didn't have the Nas verses yet and people had been waiting so long that we didn't wanna do it like that.”

Leave it to Nas to keep material on hold. First it was waiting on a verse on Raekwon's Only Bulit 4 Cuban Linx 2, to recreate “Verbal Intercourse”, then an alleged verse for Jay Z and now Jay Electronica with Act II: The Turn (Patients of Nobility).

As Hip Hop waited for the project between Jay Electronica and Just Blaze to drop on New Year's and it didn't, one of the reasons has finally come to the surface.

There is hope, however, as the duo were finally able to grab what they needed from Nas and finish the project, which they say is done and should actually be dropping any day now. They are already in the process of creating another project.

Catching up with DJ Green Lantern's Invasion radio, the duo also spoke on a three way deal with Decon and Electronica's audio-visual project and trying to maintain the independence that they have built such momentum from.

"We started this out independently, so before we get into bed really with even entertaining any majors, we want to finish this grind independently cause that's where it started at. Some people that start out indie, somebody throws a million dollars at them and they jump. It's like, ‘I don't need your million dollars.' We good.

Jay also addresses his rant on Twitter which was actually just some line taken from his song “Swagger Jackson's Revenge” and dealing with those that choose to bring negativity in his direction.

“I'm the kind of dude [where] I feel like I always come in peace. You don't have to like me, but I come in peace. We don't have to like each other, but peace. So if you at a show sayin ‘Boo' in the audience, Fawk Me? Fawk You because I come in peace.”
