Akon gets back on his gangsta ish by linking up with his former signee, French Montana, on "Hurt Somebody." 'Kon announced his fourth studio album, Stadium, is slated to hit stores on September 11th and this is the first single off of that album. Check the video after the break.

Akon, French Montana Drop Making Of "Hurt Somebody" Footage [VIDEO]

Just ahead of the official release of his “Hurt Somebody” single, featuring French Montana, Akon is dropping behind the scenes footage from the video shoot. The duo teamed with Gil Green for the visual interpretation, which will be released sometime this week.

Akon just dropped his The Konkrete mixtape, while his fourth solo effort, The Stadium is due out September 13.

There is always that one a--hole that has to ruin the fun for everybody. Concerts are no exception. When hundreds or even thousands of people are packed in one place high, drunk and rowdy, something is bound to happen. Many times, things get thrown. There is always that one guy (or girl) who gets too juiced up and thinks it is a bright idea to toss an object at the performer's noggin while they are performing. Sometimes the artists deserve it, sometimes they don't, but it rarely turns out positive (just ask Tyga) for one of the parties involved.

New Season Of VH1's 'Behind The Music' Features Nas, Game, Akon, Pitbull & More [Video]

VH1's popular documentary series Behind The Music, returns for a new season next month. This cycle airing episodes from notable Urban acts: Nas, Game, Akon, T-Pain, Pitbull, and Brandy. In the show's 15-year run (1997-2006, 2009 – Present), the series has chronicled the lives of acts like Lil' Wayne, 50 Cent, T.I., Ice Cube, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, Timbaland, Eminem and DMX.

The new season premiers Thursday, March 12 2012 at 9pm ET, with Cuban rapper Pitbull. During the recap of the Latin rapper's career, he discusses a chance encounter with Irv Gotti, when he was 17 years old, which changed his life.

“[Irv] goes, 'Hey, you write music?' I said, 'Naw, I just freestyle,' he's like, 'Yeah that Isht is great but it don't make no money,'” remembers Pitbull. “Ding ding ding, ding, ding, ding, ding... I started writing since that day forward. That's basically when it all started developing."
