Angie went on to tell a story about a chance encounter the neophyte rapper's mother had with Rakim, back in the day, where she requested the God MC autograph young Rocky's diaper, having no paper for him to scribe his signature at the time.

“You don't remember a crazy lady running into you at the [stop] light?” questioned Rocky.

The A$AP mob boss even called his mother in the middle of the encounter so she could share in enjoying the moment.

“Don't tell me…don't tell me you are here with the God.” yelled Rocky's mom. “Rakim is the God. I am a goddess. I gave birth to a God.” explained mom dukes to her son's namesake.

Love & Hip Hop fans have watched the relationship between Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin progress over the past two seasons, and now the happy couple is discussing their engagement. In an interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez, the twosome spoke about Jones finally "putting a ring on it," and whether or not they will rush to tie the knot. "We're going to figure it out. Let's do one thing at a time," Jones said when asked about locking down a wedding date.

Lampkin originally popped the question to the Dipset frontman at the end of the show's first season, but by season two she was ready for him to reciprocate. Now that they are both rocking engagement rings, the 42-year-old said that she's nervous to walk down the aisle. "I'm scared of the wedding," Lumpkin admitted. "A lot of planning and a lot of stuff I have to get together."

Once they hone in on a date, Jones revealed that the ceremony will be traditional. "I'm old school, we got to go to my grandmother church and do it there then after that we can get crazy," said Capo.

In light of their newfound popularity, Jones and Lampkin haven't ruled out the possibility of cashing in on the wedding by airing the ceremony on VH1, or any other network interested.

Wale dropped into Hot 97 on Thursday for an interview with Angie Martinez.

During the interview the MMG rapper talked about his new album Ambition and talked about the emotions in his music.

"I'm just myself," Wale said. "I don't have anything that I gotta prove."

"I know what I am to my city. I know what I to my fans. I don't gotta try to out cool everybody every song. I gotta give emotion."

The emotional rapper also gave an update on Ross' condition saying, "He's resting, he's working on his album."

"He's good. He just needs to get some rest. He's been working himself real hard."

Angie Martinez and Big Sean were spotted at Club Ole  where they hosted a "Libra Affair" to a crowd that packed the house to see the celebs.

Dancehall star, Mavado can now chat out "We The Best" after signing to DJ Khaled's label. The announcement came when Mavado was a guest on Angie Martinez's show on Hot 97 FM with Khaled on the phone expressing his excitement.

The world famous DJ expressed, "Mavado's part of the family, part of the brand. It's about to be an expansion to the movement. It's going to be a movie, you feel me? I'm really excited about this because my roots and where I come from, I've known Mavado since before he was Mavado. Mavado always puts great music out, and I just want to add more to it, add some steroids to it.”
