Memphitz arrested at Atlanta airport

The husband of Toya Wright, formerly Toya Carter of BET's "Toya: A Family Affair", was taken into custody Monday after Atlanta airport security discovered a handgun in his backpack.

TMZ reports that the producer is charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location and is in Georgia's  Clayton County jail.

His bond has not yet been set.

Police said Wright, 34, has a license to carry the gun but told authorities he had forgotten the weapon was in his bag when it went through the X-ray scanner at a security checkpoint.

TSA officials said offenders could face fines of up to $10,000 for bringing a gun to the airport.

Toya and her beau were recently named the new faces of Ampro Styling Gel.

Toya's show ‘Toya's Family Affair' debuted last week as BET's highest rated returning series in history with 1.5 million viewers.

And according to Toya , the program that goes in depth about her mother's drug problem and her strained relationship with her previously incarcerated brother is both a gift and a curse.

While she enjoys having people relate to her, she's weary of people who feel like they really know her on a personal level.

She tells Rolling Out,

“It's a gift and a curse, but a blessing. People feel like they really, really know you. So you get the weirdos who come up to you, ‘Oh, you looking for love? I can help you with that,' and ‘Lil Wayne's crazy' and this and that. The plus side is you get to meet people who genuinely give you this love and open up to you … so it helps people.”

Toya also spoke on her daughter Reginae Carter who viewers have watched grow before their eyes.

According to Toya, having her daughter at 14 allowed them to ‘grow up together' hence why Lil Wayne's daughter is so ‘grown.'

 "When you have kids at a young age, your kids tend to grow up with you. So, as I was learning, she was learning, which is why she is wise beyond her years. People see my daughter and say, ‘She is so grown.' We were learning together. I couldn't just put her off on everybody. That didn't stop me from being a mother. I told her when she was born, ‘I'm going to give you all I didn't have and more.' … Love your kids … listen to them, hear them out. People say, ‘If you didn't have it, you can't give it,' but that's not true. I didn't have [anybody], but I'm trying to be there for my daughter. [I tell her to] talk to me because I didn't have [anyone] to talk to.”

Toya Carter Offends Gay Fans

Lil Wayne's ex-wife is in hot water after making what some are calling anti-gay comments this morning on Twitter.

Antonia “Toya” Carter wrote early Tuesday,

“It breaks my heart to see kids under 18 gay.”

She later went back however and deleted the tweet before apologizing for upsetting fans.

Her daughter with Lil Wayne Reginae Carter also took to Twitter and defended her mom saying,

“I know my mother is anice(sic) lady nshe(sic) have opinions. But she said she srry(sic). The ones that dn't (sic) believe her, she tried. Unfollow me, my mom comes 1^st!

Unfollow me if yhu(sic) dnt like what I said !! My mother comes first ! But if yhu (sic) do ! Y'all ate (sic) my true fans nd(sic) I love yhu (sic) guys!”

The two got into a slight tift over the Stacks' comments about the reality star's fiancé MempHitz from BET.

As recently reported, Stacks got into a war of words with Houston rapper Slim Thug after direct messages from the rapper's Twitter account showing him declining advances from super groupie were leaked online.

She also outed singer Jeremih for propositioning her on the social network site before dissing her and calling her “weird.”

As T.I.'s return home from prison made fans shaky about the future of the Tiny & Toya show, Antonia Carter makes the announcement that their reality series is not returning for a third season.

Brushing off the idea that the rapper played a factor in the show coming to a close, she informs 97.9 The Box's Mad Hatta Morning Show that the two just decided to focus on their own careers independently.

Does anybody really believe that to be the case???

Adding that Tiny is focusing on her music career, Ms. Carter's next venture will continue to be on television as she has been given a spin-off known as Toya's Family Affair.

Accompanied by her best friend and the ex-wife of  Lil Wayne, Toya, Tiny caught up with HipHopWired at the premiere party of "Tiny and Toya" in Atlanta.

The former Xscape hitmaker and songwriter divulged details on her hubby-to-be saying that she was happy to have him home and the King was back in the studio sounding great.

"It's great, I got my man back. My kids got their father back. Everything is lovely. He's working hard and sounding great!"

Moving on from her relationship, Tiny says her girl-group featuring daughter Zonnique and Lil Wayne's first born Reginae is still progressing. The young ladies have a single available online and are releasing their next single "Haterz" featuring singer Nivea.

"The OMG Girlz are doing shows. They have a song on ITunes right now called "Ain't Nobody" and we're about to release a song they have called "Haterz" featuring Nivea..."

Unbeknownst to many, Tiny is actively giving back to the community and has her own non-profit organization for Alzheimer's awareness. Called"For The Love Of Our Fathers ", she says the organization was started by herself and Tip who have both felt the effects of the disease  personally.

"My foundation is me and Tip's foundation together. His father passed from Alzheimer's. It's called For The Love of Our Fathers and it's for research."

Before checking out with HHW, she also gave the ladies a plug for her nail salon. "Tiny's Nail Bar" is located in Stockbridge, GA and she gave out the address to all those interested in being serviced.

"Tiny's Nail Bar is 3540 Walt Stevens Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. It's on the Southside of Atlanta. They are very creative, they can do portraits...but they also can do simple things."

Is she, in fact, still in love with Wayne and that's why she wants to keep his “Carter” tagged?

During an interview with AllHipHop, Toya finally took the time to address what many have constantly wondered in regards to holding the title of “Carter”

"To me what's the big deal with the last name? My daughter is a Carter, it's not because I'm all attached to Wayne, but we were married and that was my last name. It's bad enough a lot of other things shifted up like I don't see the last name being an issue."

And there is it folks, just because Toya wants to remain a “Carter” that doesn't necessarily mean that she is hoping that Wayne will finally see the light and rekindle the relationship.

Then again, this is a dealing between a man and a woman, so who really knows what the truth is.

“ I'm angry this morning. Who told US weekly to say I told them Wayne have a job...I never said that to them!”

After news hit the net yesterday that Lil Wayne had picked up a job in jail, fans rallied in support of the Young Money head for taking on a new responsibility.

Now however it seems that the support may have been misguided.

As previously reported Us Weekly published an "exclusive interview" with his ex-wife Antonia Toya Carter confirming that Wayne had a job in Riker's Island monitoring inmates on suicide watch.

Now however Toya claims that the story is completely false.

Toya completely denies ever doing an interview with the publication and ranted about the false story on Twitter saying,

“Good morning  tweethearts....I'm angry this morning. Who told US weekly to say I told them Wayne have a job...I never said that to them...people r Crazy!

Adding insult to injury, when asked by a fan if she ever did an interview with the publication she responded simply,

“Never did.”

Someone's lying here and I'm willing to bet it's not Toya.

SMH….no integrity.

Judgment day has finally come for Lil Wayne. The Young Money/Cash Money leader is scheduled to report to prison today for a gun possession charge.

As previously reported Wayne pleaded guilty to the charge in October stemming from a 2007 incident where New York police found a loaded hand gun on his tour bus.

Now he'll appear in a federal courtroom and could be sentenced to up to 1 year in New York's notorious Riker's Island prison.

He is expected to not serve his full sentence however and could be released in 8 months for good behavior.

Various members of his friends and family have expressed their sadness over his impending fate.

His ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Carter took to her Twitter page to express he feelings saying,

“Sad day for me and my fam   ……This is really a hard pill to swallow.”

Young Money President Mack Maine has taken to the social outlet as well and is trying to make his friend a “trending topic” with his “Pray For Weezy” posts while Nicki Minaj tearfully tells  MTV that she doesn't  believe he should have to go to jail.

“It's sad, because he doesn't deserve to go to jail… reality hasn't set in that he has to go to jail. He shouldn't have to go to jail."

Last night Lil Wayne said his final goodbye to his fans last night during a UStream broadcast by Young Money signee Lil Twist.
In it he shares laughs with Twist and other members of his Young Money hometeam before saying his last words to his fans.

"To all my fans, my real fans, I really, really, really truly love you. I love you with all of me, for real. I'll probably be loving everything else because I love you so much. Thank you from the bottom [of my heart]. Do not forget about me 'cause I will forever think about you, and I cannot wait for you to see me again. I'm out.”
