Jadakiss Celebrates Consignment Mixtape & Birthday In Atlanta [VIDEO]

Last night, Jadakiss celebrated his birthday in conjunction with the success of his Consignment mixtape at Atlanta's Gold Room. Al Qaeda Jada quietly achieved a platinum rating for his Gangsta Grillz effort.

The Yonkers rapper's project has been quietly heralded and overshadowed because of Meek Mill's Dreamchasers 2 acheiving higher numbers in such a short period in time. Nevertheless, congratulations to the D-Block general on his recent success. Watch the video below.

2 Chainz is about 6' 6" tall and brown skinned while Future is shorter and fairer skinned. It didn't stop New York Magazine's Vulture blog from confusing the two Atlanta rappers, though.

Future Says His Beef With Drake Is Done [VIDEO]

As Future rose to prominence last year, his "Tony Montana" record was one of the songs that helped him climb in popularity. When Drake hopped on the remix for the song became even more popular and helped land Future his record deal with Epic. However, the two had a much publicized falling out when Drake failed to show up to the shoot for the video. According to MTV, the two seem to have patched things up. Check the video below.

While The Throne gets busy across the Atlantic, Drake's Club Paradise Tour is one hot ticket stateside with names like Meek Mill, French Montana and 2 Chainz participating in the festivities. Last night, Drizzy's tour stopped in Atlanta at Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood. A-list Hip-Hop clientele who rep the ATL, like DJ Drama, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame, were on hand to add to the mix.

The peeps at ATLpics.net come through with photos from both the show and the afterparty (at the Velvet Room). From the photos it's clear that Drake is having an absolutely great time being a rap star. Peep the all the YOLO inspired antics in the gallery.

Waka didn't like the fact that someone was profiting from the image of a deceased person, also made a point about not knowing if that's something Tupac would have wanted.

Cee Lo Criticized For Performing "F-ck You" At Barack Obama Fundraiser [VIDEO]

Cee Lo Green was super crunk about performing at a recent fundraiser for President Obama held Friday, March 16 in Atlanta. Maybe a little too crunk for the tastes of some people who attended the event.

The rapper/singer drew the ire of some of the people in attendance at the bourgeoisie soiree for allegedly performing the explicit version of his hit single, “F-ck You” during his stage time. The Goodie M.O.B. member even reportedly tossed the crowd a middle finger during his heartfelt performance.

Cee Lo was admittedly hype about the event, tweeting prior to hitting the stage: “ATL is FIRED UP for President Barack Obama tonight! I'm performing, Tyler Perry (is) hosting. You in for #Obama2012?”

However, after his performance, which the President was not on hand for, not everyone had the same sentiment about his song and dance. “You have no class at all, very disrespectful tonight. #TheVoice should be ashamed of you right now,” typed a fellow tweeter. Green responded, “Well (they're) not!....It was a mistake sir.” He then added, “All of you heard the song a thousand times so don't get all saint on me.”

Andre 3000 Breaks Down How He Selects Collaborations

Fans who have waited with baited breath for a follow-up for Andre 3000's critically acclaimed solo LP, The Love Below, have had to settle for sporadic guest appearances from the enigmatic MC.

In the latest issue of The FADER however, Three Stacks explains to Sam Hockley-Smith exactly what his thought process is when it comes to jumping on a track.

"The music has to kinda move me in some kind of way. Sometimes it's emotionally, sometimes it's just being there supporting another person," Andre explains. "Even the Chris Brown remix—of course I love the beat, but at that time a lot of people were on Chris Brown as a human being. And I know he'd gone through his troubles or whatever and I just was like—I just wanted to stand by him and be like, Hey, you know, you can't really charge a man forever and condemn a man forever."

Andre 3000 also recently shot down any plans of a Outkast album for the forseeable future in a recent interview with GQ, but plans to release another solo effort.

Fabolous Drops $45K On Rosé Moët At Club Compound In Atlanta

When the money goes? TMZ reports that Brooklyn rapper Fabolous dropped $45K in champagne at a party he was hosting in Atlanta's Club Compound. The "You Be Killin Em" rapper was looking out for a friend (that would be "Fly Ty" of Desert Storm, according to Twitter) whose birthday party he was hosting in the popular ATL nightspot.

The $45K, enough for a year of tuition at most colleges and universities, was for 120 bottles of Rosé Moët. Also, the champagne arrived in a carriage that looks like a gold bathtub.

Nice.

A$AP Rocky Turns Down 'XXL Magazine' Freshman 2012 Cover [Video]

Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky and his rapid rise from Internet sensation to major label player has been one of the biggest Hip-Hop stories of late. Although his unconventional sound nearly betrays his New York City roots, Rocky's knowledge of the music goes deeper than homages to Texas Hip-Hop and culture. During an interview with DJ Drama in Atlanta, the $3 million dollar Sony/RCA man shot down the DJ's inquiry regarding rumors he turned down an invitation to grace the XXL Freshman 2012 cover.

“Nah, not even, I was busy,” said a mellow Rocky, flanked by his A$AP crewmembers laughing in the background. “I don't know who they spoke to [but] I wouldn't mind doing it.”

Glossing over the issue with laughter, A$AP did say he hopes to cover other publications in the future. Drama also saw fit to mention a female with her own growing buzz; Iggy Azalea. After the host asked if the pair were an item, Rocky moved past the question and declined to comment. Drama also dropped fellow Harlem rapper Azealia Banks' name in the interview. Rocky spoke favorably of Banks, stating a possible future collaboration.

“She did what she did, we did what we did, that's as far as it goes,” said Rocky. “We think she's dope and I wouldn't mind working with her. She got a big following out there.”

A$AP Rocky is currently on Drake's Club Paradise tour and the Harlem rapper's major label debut has yet to be announced.
