Recently we reported that Ludacris will be bringing his new restaurant, Chicken & Beer, to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Luda's new eatery was allegedly in direct competition with Jay-Z's 40/40 Club, according to Hip Hop News 24-7.

Apparently the airport could only accommodate one of the ventures, which ended up being Luda's new endeavor. Reportedly, Luda pulled some strings and met with Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed, and got him to speak to the Atlanta City Council on his behalf.

Hov was supposedly irate with Ludacris, but nothing has been confirmed. Considering that Jay signed a deal with Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service, to bring the 40/40 Club to about 20 U.S. airports, his anger at losing a potential spot in a major airport makes sense.

The 40/40 Club currently has two locations in New York City and Atlantic City, with a London location in the works. New York's 40/40 Club opened in 2003, and has recently gone through a complete renovation. The $4 million dollar Atlantic City location opened in October of 2005, and sits in front of Caesars Hotel and Casino.

Hov is known for his determination, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before there is a 40/40 Club introduced in the city of Atlanta.

Young Jeezy Listening Party

Young Jeezy held a private album listening session at Patchwerk Studios in Atlanta on Friday.

Common, Keri Hilson, Ludacris and many others were on hand to show support and get a early listen to Jeezy's Thug Motivation 103 album.

Since rappers always get a bad rap when there's negative news, here's a positive news story to report.

During his 23rd birthday celebration earlier this week, Atlanta rapper B.o.B. donated $10,000 to  the Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless.

Bobby Ray also challenged others to meet his donation, so lets see if anyone steps up to the plate.

Hats off to B.o.B. for giving back to the community.
