Even at 40, Jay-Z is appearing to be at top form when compared to other rappers that he must compete with.

With his latest single “Young Forever” making its way onto the top 10 of the Billboard charts, Jay can now stand victorious as the rapper with the most top 10 singles ever.

Wow, people actually like that song, huh??

Initially with the record being broken by Ludacris, who had 16 hits to land on the top 10, Jigga was able to edge him out, now having 17 singles under his belt, according to Entertainment Weekly.

With his single “My Chick Bad”, from Battle of The Sexes, quickly climbing the charts, Luda is far from throwing in the towel in this competition. Currently it is holding down the number 11 spot, so let's see what happens next week.

Although Jay may have won the battle with the most records to hit top 10, Luda still holds the crown for being the rapper with the most #1 records, standing at 5.

“I did try to do that, it just didn't work itself out…”

In between partnering with the CDC to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and helping the government increase participation with the 2010 Census, Ludacris is dishing out more details on his Battle of The Sexes album.

The seventh album from the DTP frontman is filled with features from Nicki Minaj, to Trina to Lil Kim. Luda says however that there is one person missing from the final project—Lauryn Hill.

Speaking in an interview with The Associated Press, Luda says he tried to reach out to the Fugees lead but ultimately, things just didn't work out.

“I think Lauryn Hill is like extremely talented and I can say I did try to do that, it just didn't work itself out.”

Moving past his disappointment, Luda speaks on the decline in female rappers. According to Cris, it's because too many women try to rap like men instead of being themselves.

"They want to rap for the guys when they should be rapping and being themselves and talking about what's going on with them. We want to hear women talk more about what women do as opposed to trying to be like men or talk about what men do."

No word on whether he plans to work with Lauryn in the future.

As previously reported, Luda is traveling across the country to encourage people to fill out their U.S. Census forms.

He'll visit local radio stations and meet with fans in promotion of the effort.

You can catch Ludacris in New York on April 5, Washington D.C. on April 6 and his hometown of Atlanta on April 9.

Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges is doing his part to lend support to the government for the 2010 Census.

Just weeks after the drop of his seventh studio album, “Battle of The Sexes”, Luda is hitting the streets for a nationwide campaign to encourage people to take “ten minutes for ten questions” that can potentially change their community.

In support of the brief government survey, Luda's making stops in several cities to visit radio stations and premier his viral webisodes including New York on April 5, Washington D.C. on April 6 and his hometown of Atlanta on April 9.

He previously visited Dallas on March 19 and New Orleans on the 23.

His visits will give fans an opportunity to log on to participating radio station websites and write how their neighborhoods could benefit from 2010 Census funding. Certain fans will be selected to meet and discuss the 2010 Census with him in person.

Speaking on his efforts to make sure his fans are accounted for, Luda released a statement saying,

“I look at our communities now and I see many empty lots, closed clinics, dilapidated schools and an overall breakdown of social services for the poor and elderly. Today is a day for change. I plan to knock on doors in various neighborhoods around this country to try and dispel any myths about the Census. It's important that we all stand up and be counted so we can help create potential financial opportunities for our dying communities.”

Ludacris and the Census hope his efforts will help account for those typically unaccounted for, young single African-American males, single women with children, the poor and underprivileged, people with criminal issues, and immigrants.

“The first thing I said to him was, 'I want to meet the guy who has had so much to say about me, but knows absolutely nothing about me…”

Ludacris' longstanding beef with Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly is officially over.

Luda deaded his beef with the shock-commentator known for his politically incorrect, biased and often irrational opinions, largely responsible for Luda losing an endorsement from Pepsi.

Luda says after 8 years of brewing issues, he confronted O'Reilly at a recent event and approached him saying,

“I want to meet the guy who has had so much to say about me, but knows absolutely nothing about me…”

He tells RadarOnline.com that he saw O'Reilly's name on the guest list at an event and surprised him by walking over to see him.

"He wasn't expecting to see me, at all. The look on his face when he saw me approaching... priceless."

Unbeknownst to many, Luda tells RadarOnline.com that the unlikely pair ended their feud amicably and even hosted a charity event together.

"From there, we came to a common ground. To be honest with you, we came together and did an event for charity - as crazy as it sounds. Perhaps everything happens for a reason.”

Bill O'Reilly called for a boycott of Pepsi after they named Ludacris as a spokesman in 2002 leading to him lose the endorsement deal.

Luda retaliated with several disses in several of his song's including 2003‘s “Blow It Our You're A**”
Way to be the bigger man Luda, good for you!

Ludacris is still adding more fuel to the promotional fire surrounding his forthcoming Battle of The Sexes album.

As previously reported, the original concept to make an album of battling between Luda and DTP rapper Shawnna was scrapped reportedly due to Shawnna's new Nappy Boy records affiliation.

Now with a collaboration album in place Luda is set to battle some of female rap's top contenders including Lil Kim, Eve, Trina and Nicki Minaj while he's recruited Neyo, Plies and Flo Rida to come to his aid.

As Battle of The Sexes prepares to be released a week earlier than anticipated on March 9, Luda is continuing his promotional campaign and has released the cover art and tracklisting for the album.

It seems Ludacris wasn't joking when he stated that he wanted to pit a male vs. a female inside the ring with lyrics as the rapper is waging war with the opposite sex for the upcoming project Battle of the Sexes.

Originally planned to be Luda vs. Shawna, her move to Nappy Boy, reportedly, negated her presence on the project and provided a window of opportunity for other female rappers to flex their muscle and represent for this gender. Lil Kim, Eve, Trina and Nicki Minaj are some of the contenders that have decided to go against the rapper/actor.

Male rappers have stood up to come to the aid of Ludacris with artists such as Ne-Yo, Flo Rida and Plies being named as being part of the project, which will be released on March 16.

After recently dropping the visual for “How Low”, things are still undergoing the process before hitting the finish line as production is said to come from the likes of Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, Bangladesh and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League.

For the male contenders out there, here's a reminder to some things you might be up against. Study, study hard, and let the battle begin. To the victor goes the riches.

Damn...Not too much lyrics can do to contest with that. Best of luck.
