It's not a secret that a lot of animosity started to surface between Jay-Z and Beans after Sigel's weapons conviction.  Beanie previously stated that while he was incarcerated, he  didn't receive any support from Jigga  and according to insiders that statement isn't far from the truth.

According to former Roc-A-Fella videographer Choke No Joke in an interview with Hip-Hopstan.com, he stated,

"When Beans got locked up, I was there with Dame and going out to visit him and going to court dates but Jay wasn't really present when it came to that.  I do remember that one time he went to court and they asked him to vouch for Beans and he said 'No.'  Which is kind of understandable because Beans is kind of unpredictable."

Further explaining Jay's reasoning, he explained that Beans was a liability and the "type to get busy" at a moment's notice and spoke of an occasion when Sigel flashed the Mac and saved The Louis Vuitton Don from getting robbed and relived of his Roc-A-Fella chain.

In addition to being the label “handler,” Choke goes on to explain that when Beanie and other Roc-A-Fella artists appeared in various projects, they weren't paid.

“I can understand why [Beanie] is mad, because a lot of people don't know the stuff that he did off of the strength of Roc-La-Familia for free. A lot of the artists on the Roc that were in the State Property movie and ad campaigns, they didn't get paid. They were told not to worry about it, because it was good exposure.”

Man, it seems as if the “perfect position” that Jay-Z claims he put Beanie in wasn't so perfect, but we will let you view the video and judge for yourself.

But now it seems that Beans has turned his radar to a new CEO, but this lyrical jab may have some people raising eyebrows.

At Freeway's concert last night (February 16), Beanie came on stage and freestyled not only about Jay-Z, but pointed out the fact that T.I., who was sentenced to one year for a weapons and drug related offence, was released after serving just eight months of his sentence for good behavior, although he had an array of charges an evidence that for the average person would have resulted in a much harsher sentence.

“They tried to give me 35 years for attempted murder and he was caught with work and guns.” Beanie said, “I know everyone is thinking it and I am saying what these industry ni**as is scared to say.”

Beanie Sigel's case, where he faced 35 years after he was arrested and tried for attempted murder in 2003 after an incident involving Beanie and a party goer, resulted in Beans firing six shots and the party goer being critically injured.

Beanie was eventually cleared of the attempted murder case due to a deadlocked jury but ended up serving one year and a day after being convicted of a federal weapons charge.

I don't know, but it was definitely a little suspicious the way he was released, but we are going to let you view Beanie's breakdown and judge for yourself.

Peedi Crakk led his own anti-Jay campaign some time ago and Oschino was quick to take his shots at Jigga along with Sigel.

As a rapper that found himself essentially caught in the middle of a beef, Freeway has finally been able to add more of his input on the ongoing issues that Beans has with Hov.

During an interview with NYMag, Philly Freezer went in on why his fellow Philadelphia native is being relentless against Jay.

“Beans was on the Roc before me, he was the person that brought me there. Him and Jay had a deeper relationship than I did. Obviously there had to be some kind of buildup, 'cause I know Beans love Jay. I know he do. He got to. All the things they been through together.”

As the Broad Street Bully went on to say how business was type shady around the time Jay became president of Def Jam, Freeway had another take on things.

“I mean, I can't complain about Jay at all. He gave me that first major co-sign. That first co-sign was enough for me. I don't got nothing bad to say about him.”

No longer dealing with Def Jam, however, the rapper now feels in his comfort zone and actually has more of a grip on his career.

“I would just do and I didn't even know the process of getting it done, everything even down to the interviews. [Rhymesayers], it's definitely more intimate. Everything that goes on I know about. There's no smoke and mirrors, nothing that's over my head. It's just a good feeling. Feel like I'm in control.”

Who's to say exactly when the verbal assault with stop from Sigel, but one thing is for sure and that is the fact that Free won't be the one to hold a grudge on the past and can only push forward.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his “ganster” persona has transitioned him from being an artist that delivers raw and uncut aggressive content to a rapper whose name is synonymous with beef.

With Before I Self Destruct on hiatus until the close of the year, 2009 was full of notable moments for Jackson as he waged war against Rick Ross and opened old wounds back up with Jay Z when he decided to affiliate himself with Beanie Sigel.

Coincidentally, more will remember the rapper for his antics in the year as opposed to the actual album which was overshadowed by constant push backs.

Throughout it all, throughout his career, the rapper has painted himself as the bully and seems to be unwavering from shaking that image anytime soon.

Talking on Power 105 with DJ Clue and DJ Envy, Jackson opened up more on his need to turn the beef with Ross into more of a spectacle instead of something serious.

“Everyday I'm hustling, I'm believing that's who he is.  Then you look and think, ‘Hey, he's a cop, you serious?'  Then everything else that comes out I can't take this serious, I gotta go Pimpin Curly.  I need something else that's effective and laugh at it, so no one else takes it serious.”

Jackson also elaborated on his “relationship” with Jay which has taken constant turns as the years have progress from friends to opponents.

“Because it's the competitive nature of the art form.  It's still there, he competes too.  He just does it so subliminal that people don't read it.”
