beef
Back in October, the Game got into a beef with a struggle rapper named Stitches. Last night, said rapper got knocked the f*ck out by the Compton rapper’s manager.
Lupe Fiasco and Kid Cudi haven’t been the best of buds for much of the year, but most might have thought the beef between the pair died down. Over the weekend, however, the Chicago rapper had some choice words for his Cleveland rival, which included the threat of delivering the fade.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, D.C. rapper Wale shared a meme of a bubble booty model which warned against the virtues of plastic surgery on the behind. The IG model, Ms. Miami, clapped back at the MMG star and even took a jab at his music in her reply as well.
The dissent within the seemingly invincible Odd Future crew has apparently been bubbling for a while. During the crew’s annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival concert, Hodgy Beats took to the stage to air out his grievances with Tyler, The Creator and called him a fraud on Instagram.
Earlier this week, Young Thug and Metro Boomin got into a war of Twitter words that started when the latter bigged up Future’s steady flow of mixtapes. Thugger took offense, slandered Future (while comparing himself to Michael Jackson) and basically got invited to the fade by Metro, but now they’re besties again.
Although they put up a valiant effort, Ja Rule and Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. was throttled by 50 Cent’s G-Unit during the mid-00s in what became one of the most memorable Hip-Hop feuds of all-time (and thankfully, one of the least violent).
Young Thug took offense to some tweets from Metro Boomin last night in which the Atlanta producer saluted Future for his current dominance of the music and mixtape scene. Thugga took the tweets personally and lashed out with responses of his own on the social media network.
Future and his current dominance of the airwaves is tough to deny, but Funkmaster Flex took to the radio and stated very clearly that stations should support local artists first. Future Hendrix took offense to Flex’s rant and unleashed a tirade of tweets while announcing the release of the Monster 2 project.
Meek Mill has no one to blame but himself for the current rap debacles he’s suddenly found himself in and it appears his hometown news outlets don’t even respect him.
Meek Mill is still throwing shots at Wale. The proverbial chopper is spraying over social media instead of the recording booth, though.
Former married couple DJ Drama and Summer P Walker are having it out in a very public fashion on Twitter in what appears to be over an alimony payment. The online beef is largely one-sided, with Walker laying out the mixtape DJ’s personal business with a series of soul-burning rapid-fire tweets.
