Two years ago today, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the island of Haiti, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and devastation. BET's 106 & Park is dedicating today's episode to highlighting the continued efforts being made to help the island rebuild from the unfortunate tragedy.

On hand with hosts Terrence J. and Rosci Diaz will be Pras of the Fugees, while his cousin Wyclef Jean will be speaking to viewers directly from Haiti via Facetime. Although there has been progress made in the island nation's recovery, there is still much work to be done.

WPGC's Morning Show with Big Tigger and Free is no more.  Yesterday (December 22), Tigger confirmed reports that the he and the Washington, DC station had agreed to part ways via his Twitter account.

Tigger started with WPGC nearly 20 years ago as an intern, and worked his way through the ranks.  As one of the more popular radio and television personalities, Tigger will surely be missed in the DMV area.  In a memo, WPGC's New Program Director, Jason Kidd, wrote:

 "I want to let you know that Tigger will no longer be hosting mornings on WPGC. Tigger has been a huge part of WPGC over the years. He started as an intern at PGC back in 1993 and eventually moved into nights in 1996.  He came back later in the 2000s for afternoons and then, most recently, mornings. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Tigger will surely land on his feet, and most likely find his way back to television.  With MTV bringing back Yo! MTV Raps, it only seems fitting for BET to counter and bring back Rap City: The Basement. Guess we'll have to wait and see, but for now, we just have moments like below to reflect on.

T.I. visited 106th & Park to talk about his new album on the way as soon as February, his book of course and premiered a video for "I'm Flexin'" featuring Big K.R.I.T.

Tip promised to get back to Trap Muzik and he also let people know that Power & Beauty may have some similarities to his life but he drew from other people's experiences for the novel.

We never got a real explanation to what Webbie did to get banned from BET's 106 & Park, so during an interview Julia Beverly of Ozone Magazine, Webbie explained his side of the 106 & Park story.

What makes this video interview even more entertaining is that it takes place in Walmart.

In the video below, Webbie begins talking about the situation around the 4:00 mark and at the 7:15 mark he uses a Walmart employee to play Rocsi to help him reenact the incident.

There has to be more to this story than what Webbie's saying but this is still hilarious.

To make matters worse, Webbie got kicked out of Walmart while discussing 9/11. That video footage is posted below and it's equally as entertaining as the 106 & Park bit.

MTV is back at it expanding their award show repertoire on their everlasting mission to show BET how it's done.

Don't think we don't know what the Sucker Free Awards are about.

"Sucker Free Countdown," the only show they have solely dedicated to hip-hop that has been around for years, is becoming the theme for an awards ceremony being held at LIV Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and will feature a special performance from YMCMB.

Sway Calloway will be the host of the show which will highlight the hottest in hip-hop for this year. Voting at SuckerFreeAwards.MTV2.com begins now.

Webbie Speaks On Terrence And Rocsi

More drama ensues between Webbie and 106&Park host Terrance J.

As previously reported, rapper Webbie was banned from the BET series and went as far as to fire threats at Terrance by bashing him on camera.

It doesn't stop there however, on Monday, the rapper called into Chicago's Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot show to ramble on about the situation.

Speaking on Rocsi Diaz, who Webbie says is the cause of the issue, Webbie tells the morning show that he previously knew her and Terrance is jealous.
Diaz like Webbie, is from Louisiana.

"I knew her before I made 'Bad B*tch' and 'Gimme That P*ssy,' I knew her before I started making any raps. I don't know the other dude Terrence, that's on him," Webbie said.

"I don't know her personally. I just know how people live where we live. The picture explains it all. I'm just saying Terrence get your h*e man, that's your h*e... get your h*e man. This aint got nothing to do with BET. This aint got nothing to do with the millions of kids that I say stay in school. I make sure I tell 'em stay in school. I tell these girls if you get pregnant early take care of that baby 'cause that's your fault. Don't get pregnant early, go be somebody. This on a busta that needs to get his h*e."

The rapper continued, insisting that Terrance J take precaution.

"He aint worth it, but I'll just tell him he better be cool 'cause everywhere I've been going I got the streets in my pocket," he said. "And they telling me 'we gonna beat him up' and I don't even be knowing these dudes. But every corner I hit they know so he better stay inside."

Savage Life rapper Webbie is obviously still heated at BET host Terrence J, now that he's threatened to “beat him up” on Twitter.

As previously reported, Webbie was a guest on 106 and reportedly banned after an incident between himself and host Rocsi Diaz took place.

To the surprise of viewers and the audience Terrence announced that the rapper would no longer be returning saying,

“We would not like to thank Lil Webbie who has been banned from the show. You will not see him on 106 & Park anymore.”

Now Webbie's firing back and has released a video bashing J. According to him J's just mad that his girl [Rocsi] wanted him.

“I'm slapping the f*ck outta Terrence when I see him. That's a personal issue. Terrence likes that girl and that girl wanted me.”

Umm okay.

Despite an audio interview where DJ Premier explained how he refused to allow Justin Bieber a spot on the BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher, the legendary Hip-Hop producer denies he's was the sole reason Bieber wasn't allowed to spit his 16.

In the interview Premier said:

"Justin Bieber asked if he could do the cypher and everybody was worried that might mess up the integrity of BET," Premier said.

"I was like yo, as long as he got a dope rhyme, let him spit. But then we heard he wants Luda to write his rhyme."

"I was like oh no, no, no, no. If you ain't writing your own rhyme, you can't do it, so Justin, you gotta take a backseat. Write your own rhymes, honey."

Now that the story has hit the internet, DJ Premier is backing off of his statement.

Ok, maybe "ban" is a strong word. But we can say that Premier did have influence in keeping Bieber off of the BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher, whether Ludacris was going to write his rhymes or not.

According to reports, Louisiana rapper Webbie has been banned from BET's 106 & Park (although it's not like he spent much time on the show anyway).

Reports did not state exactly what Webbie, who was a guest on 106 & Park on Friday, did to get banned, but rumors are that the rapper did something inappropriate towards the show's host Rocsi Diaz.

Here's a quick video clip of Terrance J announcing that Webbie was banned from the show following his appearance on Friday.

New York rapper Max B, who is currently serving a 75-year prison sentence in New Jersey, didn't take too kindly to Joe Budden's lyrics during Eminem and Slaughtherhouse's BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher.

The Joe Budden lines goes: "She's so bad I make her hit the telly from a taxi and dead her in that Holiday Inn, learned that from Max-B."

In response to the line, a Twitter update was posted on Max B's Twitter page, which read:

"I AM INNOCENT SO STOP PUTTING MY NAME IN NEGATIVE SH*T....THANKS TO ALL MY FANS FOR THERE SUPPORT HOMIE GOTTA APOLOGIZE," a following update read.

It's not that serious Max B but when you're doing 75 years in a box, it very well might be.

Max B probably has better things to do other than worry about a Joe Budden's line in a freestyle, especially since he's attempting to appeal his murder case.
