Drake recently performed at a benefit for Bill Clinton's Millennium Network, hosted by the former president at Boulevard3 in Hollywood.

The Young Money rapper, rocked a zebra-print shirt over a black tee, gold chain, and black pants, performed at the VIP fundraiser in support of the Clinton Foundation before a crowd that included Chaka Khan, Chelsea Clinton, Blake Griffin, Rose McGowan, Elise Neal, and more.

The rapper received a presidential introduction from Clinton himself.

“Our performer tonight really doesn't need me to introduce him and probably doesn't need me to tell you that you'll like him 'cause he's 40 years younger than I am.

We do have one thing in common. He was recently nominated for a Grammy and I won two. Unlike me, his first album was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and he's worked and recorded with a lot of famous people including my fellow New Yorker and friend Jay-Z.”

A humbled Drizzy took the stage to perform, but first saying:

“I'd like to first of all say how honored I am to be here this evening. I'm a 24-year-old kid from Canada and I truly take tonight as one of the most important nights of my life,” he told the audience. “With that being said, let's have some fun.”

Peep the page #'s to see Drake during his night he'll never forget.

Rush Limbaugh's brash statements are raising eyebrows once again, as the conservative shock jock airs out another angry tirade about President Obama.
The radio show host, who mind you said he was leaving if healthcare reform passed, has written an editorial piece for The Wall Street Journal criticizing The President and one of his predecessors, Bill Clinton.

Entitled “Liberals And The Violence Card” with a subtext that reads, “Conservative protest is motivated by a love of what America stands for”, Rush hopes to defend the violent Tea Party protestors who spit and hurl racial slurs at Congressmen by citing the fact that they have more “love” for their country than liberals.

According to Limbaugh, Clinton and Obama do not love their country. He makes that implicitly clear saying that the Obama and Clinton administrations are “comfortable with the unrest in our society today” and villainize himself and FOX News to their advantage, a strategy most disagree with.

“A clear majority of the American people want no part of this. They instinctively know that the Obama way is not how things get done in this country. They are motivated by love. Not hate, not sedition. They love their country and want to save it from those who do not.”

Limbaugh also criticizes President Bill Clinton for recently inferring that radio show hosts such as himself might have incited the violence displayed by Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVey back in 1993.

Obviously uncomfortable with the truth *cough* that statement, Rush says

"McVeigh was not inspired by anything I said or believe and to say otherwise is outright slander."

According to Rush, the people who really love the country, the protestors, have “peacefully risen up” and it's wrong to call him seditious for insisting “that the temporary inhabitants of high political office comply with the Constitution, honor our God-given unalienable rights, and respect our hard-earned private property.”

Hoe sit down! Someone find this man a seat please.

South Carolina's Lt. Governor Andre Bauer recently had some disparaging words this week targeted towards the poor which also was a brick smack to the face also targeted at Black people. Recently comparing government assistance to “feeding stray animals,” Bauer stated to the Greenville News,

"My grandmother was not a highly educated woman but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed. You're facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don't think too much further than that. And so what you've got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don't know any better."

Currently campaigning for Governor of the state, he insisted that the country could not afford to keep giving away money without nothing in return. Some of the stipulations he wants to invoke include poor people losing their benefits if they don't pass drug tests, and parents should be required to be more active in their children's education and be forced to attend PTA meetings.

Receiving flack for his “stray animals” comments, Bauer has since tried to clean up his words. He added,

"There's no way that I was trying to tie animals to people, but what I was trying to talk about is the dependency culture, and just like when you feed an animal, you create a dependency."

Hip-Hop Wired recently spoke to Dr. Boyce Watkins about the comments and if he felt they were racially biased.

Dr. Boyce Watkins: He may not have been talking about all Black people but he was certainly talking about poor Black people. But his comment wasn't exclusively aimed towards Black people but Black people have a greater reason than most to be offended because we do have a disproportionate representation among America's poor. Also the Republicans have for the longest time made Black people the face of welfare so it's not inconceivable that his comments would be considered to be racist.

HipHopWired: As we know the problem is way bigger but he chose to start with the kids. Many kids who are on public assistance have drug addicted parents or some type of hardships so it sounds as if he's saying the children should suffer the parents' consequences. Not once did he mention about trying to fight the drugs coming into the country because he knows that's controlled by the ones at the top. It's well documented that the government pumped drugs in the ghetto to control Black people, could this be phase two?

Dr. Boyce Watkins: Now with this guy's remarks…his remarks were not just controversial, they weren't just a little bit insulting. They were disturbing because he was effectively saying not just that poor people are like stray dogs. But that if those people don't behave the way you think they should behave then you should take food from their children. You should stop giving their children free lunch and then he connected feeding the children to breeding. That these people should be discouraged from breeding by starving their children. That almost sounds like some Shyte that Hitler would've said in Nazi Germany, that certain people should not be allowed to breed.

You're opening a real dangerous and ignorant and destructive door when you talk about controlling the reproduction patterns of people that you don't agree with. So for him to really say that, it's unbelievable and then you can go to another level. He believes as a lot of people do, that the government has the right to control the actions and the behaviors of people that are getting government assistance but he doesn't feel that middle class and upper class people should have their behavior controlled.

HipHopWired: How ironic when in actuality they get more government assistance than everybody?

Dr. Boyce Watkins: Exactly, because in this county the wealthy get more government support than anybody because the wealthy get corporate welfare. You saw the government bailing out the bankers. Even this politician himself is living off of government money. How is he going to sit there and say that people getting government assistance should not be fed, their children should not be fed. They should not be able to reproduce and all these other things when in fact he himself should also be subjected to the same behavioral modification mechanism.

And also when he talked about breeding he was actually saying that these people don't know any better. Like they don't know how to stop breeding. All these things that really are disrespecting the humanity of his fellow Americans. So it makes him look as inhuman as you can imagine. I think this guy, his comments are worse than anything anybody has said in politics in the past five years that I can think of. His comments are worse than what Bill Clinton, Rob Blagojevich, and Harry Reid said. His comments go to the point of almost advocating various forms of genocide which is incredibly problematic which is why the need to get his butt out of office immediately.

HipHopWired: Now let's be fair. He's not the first person to complain about welfare abuse, Black or white. Some people do sit on their A$$ and have baby after baby and wait at home for check. What's the difference?

Dr. Boyce Watkins: The difference I think is… number one. He compares them to stray animals which is problematic to begin with. Number two… while a lot of people can criticize those who are irresponsible parents and while we all can agree with this idea that you shouldn't have children if you can't take care of them, the truth is irresponsible parenting is not just something poor people do.

I've been around rich people all my life and their parenting can be just as irresponsible. They also impose a cost onto society when you raise a child who's hooked on crystal meth or some little rich boy who goes off to Wall Street and ends up destroying the whole financial system. Or goes to college and drinks like a fish and act like an A$$ and rapes some girl in a fraternity house or whatever, you've got a lot of irresponsible parenting going in middles and upper class America too. So my feeling is while we certainly can criticize and critique poor parenting, we can't sit here and assume that only poor people do it because we know that all different types of people do it.

Racist Rush strikes again. The notorious shock jock managed to let another racist remark slip Monday, this time when talking about the late Senator Ted Kennedy.

As previously reported former President Bill Clinton was quoted in 2008 saying “a few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee” In reference to then Senator Obama at that time. When that comment was made, Ted Kennedy was reportedly offended and denounced the comment.

Well according to Rush, the real reason Senator Kennedy was offended was not because of the remark's racial implications but because “negroes brought Ted Kennedy his booze.”

According to Rush Limbaugh women brought Ted Kennedy his coffee while negroes supplied the senator with his booze.

Listen to the audio below.

SMH….First the Census Bureau and now this.

Who the hell still says NEGROES these days?

Since leaving office, former President Clinton has been a media lightning rod of sorts, remaining socially under the radar until an ideally inopportune time comes along after which he surfaces to spout a tirade that usually leaves him apologetic soon after.

As dictated by “Game Change,” a recently released book that uses first hand interview accounts from people working behind the candidates of the 2008 presidential race, Clinton to have said “ a few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee” while attempting to convince the legendary public servant to endorse his wife Hillary or then Senator Obama.

That same book also regales readers with a conversation between Secretary of State Clinton and President Obama in which she expresses concerns over her new post and his presidency being internally sabotaged by none other than her husband.

“You know I can't control him, and at some point he'll be a problem.”

Former President Clinton is one of the most popular Presidents in American history, and though his admiration had waned little, it is safe to say that the man known as the “first Black President” has done more harm to the actual First Black President and his administration.

Authorities have issued a bench warrant for the former chief of staff of Bill Clinton's Arkansas gubernatorial terms.

Betsy Wright is expected to turn herself in for allegedly smuggling contraband into a state prison.

According to CNN, Wright smuggled a Doritos bag filled with 48 tattoo needles, and pen with tweezers and a needle inside, a Swiss Army knife and a box cutter into a high-security state prison.

Wright's attorney, Jeff Rosenzweig, said she would turn herself in next week.

The former chief of staff has befriended a number of inmates at the Varner Unit in Grady, Arkansas, and she is also a long time advocate of prisoners.

"We are very disappointed the prosecutor has chosen to issue charges," Rosenzweig said.

"We have no choice but to seek vindication in court."

Wright ran Clinton's successful gubernatorial campaigns in 1982, 1984, and 1986, and she served as his chief of staff for seven years.

Just hours after former President Bill Clinton exchanged words with North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, the two imprisoned journalists who were sentenced to 12 years in a labor prison for border trespassing.

"They are en route to Los Angeles, where Laura and Euna will be reunited with their families," spokesman Matt McKenna said in a written statement.

A relieved U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, "Obviously I am very happy and relieved to have these two young women, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, on the way home to their families," she said upon her arrival in Nairobi, Kenya, for an economic forum.

"I spoke to my husband on the airplane, and everything went well. We are extremely excited that they will be reunited soon when they touch down in California," the secretary of state said. "It is just a good day to be able to see this happen."

North Korea pardoned Lee and Ling and released them after having spent about four months in prison on charges of entering the country illegally to orchestrate a smear campaign.

According to CNN, Lee and Ling said in a phone call in July that North Korean officials were willing to grant amnesty if a high-ranking U.S. diplomat was willing to travel to Pyongyang.

The reporters families and former vice president Al Gore, who owns the California-based media outlet that employs Lee and Ling, recruited the support of Bill Clinton.

After U.S. officials determined his visit would ensure the release of the reporters, Clinton was dispatched.

Officials made it clear that Clinton's visit was strictly a private humanitarian mission and not one of present international affairs, including North Korea's controversial nuclear program.

Laura's father Doug Ling said the news of his daughter's safe return home made "One of the best days in my life ... I figured, sooner or later, they'd be back."

He believes his daughter would continue her journalistic career "Despite this terrifying experience." He added, "I can't imagine that Laura would give up her passion to tell stories that otherwise wouldn't be heard."

"All of us at Current are overjoyed at Laura and Euna's safe return. Our hearts go out to them -- and to their families -- for persevering through this horrible experience."

While North Korean's state-run news agency insists Clinton apologized, reports are vastly different.

"Clinton expressed words of sincere apology to Kim Jong Il for the hostile acts committed by the two American journalists against the DPRK after illegally intruding into it," the news agency reported.

"Clinton courteously conveyed to Kim Jong Il an earnest request of the U.S. government to leniently pardon them and send them back home from a humanitarian point of view."

In sharp contrast, however, a U.S. official insists he is unaware of any apology. He went on to say the two met for about three hours and 15 minutes, and did not hear what was discussed.

The report from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the nation's official name, described the agreement to release the journalists as "a manifestation of the DPRK's humanitarian and peace-loving policy.

"The DPRK visit of Clinton and his party will contribute to deepening the understanding between the DPRK and the U.S. and building the bilateral confidence."
