Clearly, some can get a little hot under the collar when up against their competition as both are trying to find ways to effectively trip up their opposition.

In the spirit of competition, Diddy seems to have ruffled a few feathers after making some harsh comments in regards to his rivals within the liquor industry.

Reported by TMZ, while endorsing his brand of alcohol, the Bad Boy stated that if a person wasn't drinking Ciroc, then he/she might as well have been sipping on urine.

Millionaire Martin Silver, the man behind Georgi Vodka didn't take too kindly to such remarks and claimed that he was offended when he heard the news that Diddy made such a brash statement last week while in a New York nightclub.

In response, Silver plans to pull some of his own tricks by dumping several liters of Ciroc into a “large toilet” and deliver it to Diddy, unless he receives an apology.

It's such a shame that some people can become so sensitive and resort to such drastic measures for something so insignificant.

In regards to Diddy, sources close to the mogul have brushed Silver's response off as merely being a publicity stunt and as something that doesn't deserve any further comment.

The spectacle from Silver is scheduled to happen tomorrow afternoon, so be on the lookout.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his “ganster” persona has transitioned him from being an artist that delivers raw and uncut aggressive content to a rapper whose name is synonymous with beef.

With Before I Self Destruct on hiatus until the close of the year, 2009 was full of notable moments for Jackson as he waged war against Rick Ross and opened old wounds back up with Jay Z when he decided to affiliate himself with Beanie Sigel.

Coincidentally, more will remember the rapper for his antics in the year as opposed to the actual album which was overshadowed by constant push backs.

Throughout it all, throughout his career, the rapper has painted himself as the bully and seems to be unwavering from shaking that image anytime soon.

Talking on Power 105 with DJ Clue and DJ Envy, Jackson opened up more on his need to turn the beef with Ross into more of a spectacle instead of something serious.

“Everyday I'm hustling, I'm believing that's who he is.  Then you look and think, ‘Hey, he's a cop, you serious?'  Then everything else that comes out I can't take this serious, I gotta go Pimpin Curly.  I need something else that's effective and laugh at it, so no one else takes it serious.”

Jackson also elaborated on his “relationship” with Jay which has taken constant turns as the years have progress from friends to opponents.

“Because it's the competitive nature of the art form.  It's still there, he competes too.  He just does it so subliminal that people don't read it.”

The date is now January 14.  Since the New Year came in and Jay Z decided to bring it in with the music video for “On To The Next One”, it has been two weeks of speculation and conspiracy theory calling Jay Z a Freemason and being part of the Illuminati and the New World Order.

Coverage has become ridiculous and whether it's people reading too far into Jay and everything he does or the rapper becoming more blatant with his religious allegiance, things have spun out of control at this point.

Usually known to just allow things slide, Jay once again addressed the claims and shuts them down immediately once he hit the radio on the Ed Lover Show.

Hov actually credits the allegations to the price of fame and what happens as success rises and money continues to accumulate.

"You know when people get a lot of money, they start getting those rumors like Tom Cruise and Will Smith. That's ridiculous; that's crazy to me.”

While keeping things short and sweet on that, Jigga also speaks on his reaction to Beanie Sigel and the verbal attacks thrown at him.  At the end of the day, he feels everyone is using him as a means to obtain more exposure and attention from the masses.

"Rap music is competitive by nature, so nothing surprises me anymore.  I can honestly say that one was a shocker. When you're cut from a certain cloth, there are things that are off limits. If you cross that line, it puts you in a different box. It comes from the same thing. I think people are running out of ideas and it's all marketing at this point. In the beginning it was competition. It was just like, 'Lets see who's better. Let's go to the square and see who's better.' It's all just marketing now. That's their whole marketing plan—Jiggaman.”

It's lonely when you're the only one at the top and the New Year has started off as rocky as the preceding year ended for Jay.  Something's got to give.
