Staxx Ft. Brian Angel - "Turn You On"

One of those guys from Day 26 did a record with a rapper by the name of Staxx.

The song is available on iTunes, if you really dig it.

Day 26 is also working on a new album (even though they're one of the corniest R&B groups ever).

The Top 10 Corniest Male R&B Groups Of All-Time

We're not quite sure when it happened, but somewhere along the line, male R&B groups went from the pulse of urban music to becoming damn near extinct.

At one time groups like the Jackson 5, The Temptations and New Edition were the talk of music, but in the late '80's, '90's and the new millennium, as R&B music started losing popularity in pop culture to Hip-Hop, male groups, boy bands or whatever you want to call them, started dying off.

Of course, artists like Usher, Trey Songz, Chris Brown and R. Kelly have kept male R&B singers at the top of the charts and as popular as ever, but the same can't be said for male groups.

The public perception of male R&B groups in today's climate...well, there's just corny.

We hate to point to finger, but here's a Top 10 list of The 10 Corniest Male R&B Groups Of All-Time, and it's perfectly fine to blame them for the demise of male singing groups all together.

It seems that Yung Berg isn't the only rapper that is trying to clear his name in regards to a robbery as now you can add Diddy to the list as well.

On Monday (February 22), the internet started buzzing that the Bad Boy mogul had been a victim of a robbery that took place in his L.A. exclusive housing community during that weekend (February 20-21).

According to published reports, the robbery included four suspects that forced their way into a party and robbed attendees at gun point.

According to the L.A. Times, the house that was burglarized is owned by Combs and used to house talent on the Bad Boy roster, but according to Diddy's publicist Keesha Johnson, that story is far-fetched.

“Mr. Combs is not in any form linked to the house that was robbed in the housing community," Johnson states, “The reports that you are hearing are completely inaccurate, Sean is not affiliated with the property in any capacity."

Yvette Gayle, a representative for music label Interscope, also insists the company and its artists are not connected to the property which was robbed:

"As far as we have been able to tell in this short time, we have never owned or rented a house at this address for any purpose."

Anyone who is on Twitter knows that Diddy is an avid tweeter. And as of press time, there were no robbery related tweets during or after the time of the robbery; although he was promoting his sons guest appearance on the MTV show “Sweet 16”.

Last evening via twitter, Quawnell Mosley aka Que from Day 26, tweeted that he had received a letter from the R&B group Day 26 stating that he will be departed from the group. Many fans have already discussed their beef with the situation and have supported Que on his twitter and his ustream show.

The departure comes at no surprise, for those who are familiar with Day 26 should know that Que was one of the only band members who didn't get along with everyone. Although no extended details were released explaining the drop, Member Will Taylor took the initiative to go on his twitter and say

“The truth will soon come out about the reason for him being removed from the group and they fought for this not to happen.”

This is not the first time Day 26 has recently made headlines with career decisions. Just a few weeks ago Day 26 announced that they were leaving the Bad Boy Label and in pursuit to find a new one.

Like most Bad Boy made bands, it seems it will only get worst for this once promising group.

Diddy's stream of band fallouts is continuing as Day 26 formally announces that they've left his Bad Boy record label. While Diddy embarks on new territory with his recent signing to Interscope, his brain child of Quanell, Willie, Brian and Mike will do the same. The group has moved from Diddy's emblem to Atlantic Records. By doing so, hopefully they'll be able to salvage their career before their demise a la Danity Kane.

While their days with Bad Boy were numbered from the start, Willie is adamant that there's no bad blood between the group and the powers that be. He told TheBoombox,

“Bad Boy is always our family, but we're with Atlantic right now…we really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music. I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we're all about, that we do our thing whether it's on stage, in the studio, writing and producing -- we do it all.”

The group isn't looking to put an album out until sometime next year, but in the meantime, ladies can invest in their women's shoe line. Released in September, Eight2Six shoes coincided with the groups single, “Your Heels.” The line's first product was the “Swagga Heel” featured in three different colors and priced at $99.99.

Am I the only one that's never heard of these shoes?!

No? Didn't think so….

It's the Diddy curse I'm telling you! I DO NOT want to work for Diddy!
