Record Exec Claims None Of Nate Dogg's Friends Stepped Up To Help With Medical Bills

We all knew this was going to come to a head and more will probably soon come as record label executive David Michery claims none of Nate's "rapper friends" came through in Nate's time of need when he was still alive. As previously reported, Nate Dogg's estate is being sued by CareMeridian treatment facility in Orange County, California for unpaid medical bills. CareMeridian treatment facility claims it

was never paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care in the final years of the Dogg Pound member's life.

Nate moved into CareMeridian's treatment facility after suffering his second stroke in 2008. In legal papers obtained by TMZ, CareMeridian claimed the singer received more than $290,000 in medical treatment from 2008 until 2010, and one of Nate's managers, David Michery, personally guaranteed the facility would get paid.

Michery told TMZ he vouched for the bill in 2010 because nobody else would step up to the plate, unlike "none of Nate's so-called rapper friends,"

According to Michery, hospital staff stated that it was imperative that Nate receive treatment at the CareMeridian Center at the time because Nate's life was on the line.

"I was the only person who would come forward because I didn't want him to die," Michery told TMZ. "Me and Nate have 20 years history together and I did what everyone should have done and tried to save his life ... not let him get kicked out in the streets and die."

David says he intends to pay the costs by releasing several never-before-heard Nate Dogg tracks that he claims he owns. He also says he doesn't have any regrets about stepping up to the plate to try and save Nate Dogg's life and added, "I would do it again in a minute. I just wish that the people he looked out for all these years and the people who claim to love him so much would help out."

Warren G also spoke on the matter and told TMZ, "I rode with Nate 'til the end ... I did what I could do for him with other things financially. If I was able to pay for his hospital bill, I would have. I made several calls to numerous people for help. I love Nate ... he's my brother."

No word yet from Snoop who would appear to be the most financially secure out of all the Dogg Pound members.

Now maybe the real issue that needs to be addressed is how many rappers actually invest in life and health insurance policies before they go out and buy all these chains and whips.

When Nate Dogg died, a charity fund was set up to take care of his expenses and for his children which was a telltale sign that something was extremely wrong within the camp.

Sad situation all the way around. Hopefully Michery won't be left alone holding the bag.

I guess there's no such thing as resting in peace as Nate Dogg's estate is being sued by CareMeridian treatment facility in Orange County, California for unpaid medical bills. CareMeridian treatment facility claims it was never paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care in the final years of the Dogg Pound member's life.

But according to the lawsuit, the check never came even after Nate died on March 15, 2011. Now, the court has entered a default judgment against Nate's estate and Michery, ordering them to pay $293,512.52.

FBI Releases Documents On B.I.G. Murder; Rapper Killed With Rare Ammunition

The FBI recently shed new light on the circumstances surrounding the death of rapper Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace when it released case documents revealing some previously unknown information about the murder.

In the over 100 page documentation of the investigation, the Feds reveal that a number of gang-affiliated officers working with the Los Angeles Police Department may have aided the shooter's escape. Federal authorities also believe these same officers further disrupted the investigation, by failing to follow up on witness reports and purposefully disregarding witness statements.

The documents, which looks into the dealings of Death Row records in the investigation, also claims that the imprint was a label as well as a cocaine front, with wildly famous artists like Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg selling records while other employees service kilos of cocaine to the East coast.

The case files also reveal that Big was killed with Gecko 9mm armor piercing ammunition, which is unique to the United States and made in Germany. Police later searched the home of an unnamed Mob Piru Bloods gang member reportedly involved in the crime and recovered a 9mm handgun and Gecko rounds. However, according to the documents, ballistics test were never run.

At one point there were at least 10 witnesses with information about the murder, according to the documents. But they refused to divulge info to the LAPD.

Fight Caught On Camera Between Tupac And Another Man Started After Man Asked If He Killed Tupac

An altercation involving Suge Knight in a Las Vegas hotel lobby apparently started because the man Suge was attempting to pulverize asked the former Death Row CEO if he killed Tupac.

TMZ is reporting that Tobias King of South Central, Los Angeles has come forward as the man who provoked Suge into a fighting rage after asking him the touchy question.

King even apparently wants a rematch with Knight, telling TMZ, "Staples Center, L.A. Live, wherever."

As previously reported, an onlooker recently filmed Suge throwing hands with a man in the lobby of the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Neither man was charged in the incident.

Suge Fighting In Las Vegas Caught On Tape

Video was recently released by TMZ that shows former Death Row CEO Suge Knight embroiled in an uneventful fistfight with an unknown man in a Las Vegas hotel lobby.

Eyewitnesses claim the beef boiled when the man, challenged Suge saying, “I can take you,” early Saturday (March 12) morning in the lobby the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas.

A fight ensued, but neither man seems to land a clean shot. The two men were eventually separated after fighting for only a brief moment. As of press time neither man has pressed charges or been arrested for the altercation.

Suge Knight Drops $1 Million Lawsuit Against Kanye West

Suge Knight and Kanye West have finally reached a settlement in an ongoing lawsuit filed by the Death Row head.

As previously reported, Knight filed a $1 million lawsuit against West after he was shot in the femur during a 2005 VMA Awards after party where Ye was hosting.

Knight also says he lost a valuable earring at the club worth $135,000 and paid over $200,000 in medical expenses because Ye failed to have adequate security.

A federal judge tossed the $1 million lawsuit out in November however, a month before it was set to go to trial.

The judge concluded that there was no evidence that a shooting at the party was predictable.

Now according to the Associated Press, Suge recently dropped an appeal he filed against the ruling.

As a result, both sides are said to have reached a confidential agreement to settle court costs.

Suge Knight Pulled Over In Beverly Hills Again... Car Impounded

Marion “Suge” Knight can't seem to stay out of reach of the long arm of the law.

According to TMZ.com, the former Death Row Records CEO was pulled over yesterday in Beverly Hills and had his truck impounded for driving on a suspended license.

Knight was cited by officers but not detained, and according to reports, caught a ride with an onlooker.

Suge was hit with the same charge in September 2010. He failed to make his court date appearance and was later arrested after a warrant was issued.
