According to The Grio, Coleman's family confirmed his passing through an exclusive statement to the publication confirming the passing of the music executive and son of former BET President and CEO Debra Lee.
After more than three decades of dedicated work at BET, CEO and Chairman Debra Lee is stepping down from her post at the Viacom-owned cable network.
BET appears to be undergoing some damage control measures, this after CEO Debra Lee announced the stepping down of executives Stephen Hill and Zola Mashariki. However, Mashariki is said to still be under contract for the network and was shocked to learn she was part of the moves made on the executive level.
