Like Jay-Z before him, the Compton, Calif. rapper steered clear of judging people based on their sexual preference. In an interview with DJ Drama, Lamar showed his support for a person's right to live their life as they fit. "I don't give a f**k about people doing what they gotta do. That's your lifestyle, you dig what I'm saying?"

Lamar's comments come after President Obama and Colin Powell both announced their support of gay marriage, and the young MC pretty much feels the same way as the aforementioned political figures. "People gonna be they own individuals and have they own worlds and I can't knock it," he continued. "If you didn't believe in Jesus I can't knock you for not [believing], you got your own beliefs and your own morals. I can't help the way you was born if you was gay. And I can't change that so do what you gotta do to be happy."

Aside from commenting on political hot topics,  the 24-year-old is also working on his major label debut Good Kid in a Mad City, and a joint release with J. Cole.

In a statement sent to Hip-Hop Wired, the G-Unit head honcho revealed why he chose 2012 to drop the release via his website, just ahead of his new album. “The idea for me and DJ DRAMA came about in 2007. The same year I started THISIS50.com. So I put music out through the site to drive traffic,” he tells us.

“It was successful, we now have 850,000 registered members and we get 30,000,000 unique views per month. Now is the perfect time for this tape.”

While the Queens MC is still doing well on the music front, the same can't be said for G-Unit artist, Young Buck. Aside from heading back to jail for gun possession, Buck  also dropped the treacherous new joint “Morning Show.” Maybe 50 will put some money on his books.

The Queens rapper was scheduled to do a round of press to promote his upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape, The Lost Tape, with DJ Drama. However, it seems that Ferrari caught an unknown ailment (AllHipHop reports it was a stomach virus) that warranted hospitalization.

Nevertheless, Fif kepts fans abreast of the situation, via Twitter. "I'm in the hospital but my gangsta grillz LOST TAPE is done so it will be out on time," tweeted Fif, along with photos of himself in a hospital bed. "I don't want to go into surgery. @FloydMayweather call my phone why your phone off." 

Last night, the "Wanksta" rapper also dropped a video for "Ni**as Be Schemin'," a song that's actually from his last mixtape, The Big Ten. The Lost Tape is due out on May 22nd. Peep photos of 50 in the hospital in the gallery.
