As some people feel that the pursuit of happiness includes achieving fame and fortune, others that have reached such a point know the sacrifices and trials that occur on the climb to such a success.

For Mutah Beale, formerly known as Napolean from Tupac's rap group the Outlwaz, his experience within the music industry has shown him with high points, successful album sales, and low points, participating in shoot outs and club fights.

Still standing and able to speak on everything, the former rapper looks to present the documentary Napolean: Life Of An Outlaw chronicling his life from the start line to now.

His story will also be told by others such as Tupac's brother, Mopreme Shakur, record producer Mikal Kamil, his brother Mooney, Freeway and Amir “Loon” Muhadith who give their own personal accounts of Beale.

Also featured on the documentary is actor/comedian Mike Epps, who was the producer for the upcoming project.

“I was three years old when my mother and father got murdered. After the murder of my parents, me and my brothers, we was in the house with the dead bodies for 24 hours and I remember as a kid biting my mother, trying to wake her up.”

Rapping street stories of things that he witnessed around his environment, a chance meeting with Pac landed him with the rapper.

Riding alongside 2Pac, Beale was able to embrace the finer things in life, but all things that go up must come down as the murder of the rapper completely changed the life of the Outlaw.

Stepping outside of the rap game, a discussion with Kamil led to his conversion to Islam and 2002 and he now serves as a motivational speaker.

Dr. Conrad Murray, the man that will likely go down in history as the destroyer of the greatest musical talent in the 2oth century, is the subject of a new documentary.

A British film crew has been in Texas documenting the daily goings on of the beleaguered physician and presumed killer of Michael Jackson, capturing everything that happens at his Houston clinic.

To date, Murray remains a key suspect in the death of the “King of Pop,” although no charges have been filed against him.

An investigation into whether the good doctor gave Jackson propofol, an extremely potent anesthetic that is only meant to be used in hospitals and other medical facilities.

Miranda Sevcik, spokeswoman for Murray, said that he agreed to be filmed under the condition that no footage would be aired until after all legal issues are put to rest.

Even in his death, the story of Ol Dirty Bastard, a.k.a Dirt McGirt, continues to be told. On Tuesday, November 10, the tribute film Dirty: One Word Can Change the World will premiere in New York.

The film will be shown thanks to the ImageNation Cinema Foundation and was directed by the late rapper's cousin Raison Allah.

Serving as a celebration of the rapper's life and exploits, the documentary will showcase interviews with those close to him such as the Wu Tang Clan, Sunz of Man and others that will provide their own personal accounts of their encounters with Dirty.

Known as Russell Jones by birth right, the rapper met his untimely death on November 13, 2004 due to an accidental drug overdose.

Those in attendance will be in for a treat once the final credits roll as they will be given a live performance from Brooklyn Zu, a group affiliated with the Clan that included ODB. Being heard first on Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, the group also consists of his cousin 12 O'Clock, Shorty Sh*tstain, Murdock, Zu Keeper and Buddha Monk.

Along with the performance, viewers will also have discussion with the group along with members of the Clan and author Terrie Williams who will all give more detail into the musical career of their fallen friend.

Williams is a social worker who transformed herself into an author and now serves as an advocate for youth who deal with depression. With books to back up her credentials, her fourth, Black Pain: It Just Looks Like We're Not Hurting, tells the story of depression as it affects African- Americans while tying in her own personal struggles with it.

Around the time of his death, ODB was suffering from legal troubles and was demonstrating odd behavior, according to the media. The discussion will also touch on mental health as well as substance abuse prevention as some felt as though the rapper may have gone through the same ailments.

The documentary will show at the National Black Theatre and tickets will sell for $15 for advanced purchases and $20 at the door.

Even as the fire has burned out and the smoke has settled, there still seems to be a lingering taste in the mouths of some as it relates to Kanye West's incident.

Some have looked at the situation and condemned West as an overall menace and painted a picture of an evil baby that draws out his horns whenever he doesn't get his way. Others, however, feel as though the situation has come to an unnecessary boil and have simply stated that it could have been much worse than it actually was.

Amidst the troubles that were brewing for West after his dramatic tantrum during the VMA's, late night television show host Jay Leno was able to do what few has done, leave West speechless. In regards to his actions, Leno questioned how the rapper's mother would react to her son's outburst. Still dealing with the passing of his mother, Donda West, moments of silence followed as the rapper almost seemed to be brought to tears by the sheer thought.

“And Jay Leno, with your banana boat face having a*s, you need to apologize to Kanye West for asking him with his mother [would say], what she would think, she would think she'd need to smack your fuc*ing banana face-hacing a*s face off trying to be slick.”

The friendship of West and Def has its history and is most evident in the music. Starting back with West's debut album, College Dropout, the two have collaborated on tracks like “Two Words”, “Drunk and Hot Girls” and “Good Night”.

Currently, the rapper has collaborated with Dame Dash in producing a documentary. Although the upcoming flick is without title, the focus will be on an all-Black punk band named Death from Detroit in the 1970s. Production has already commenced and it will be directed by Coodie and Chike, who are known for working on videos for Kanye West, “Through the Wire” and Mos Def, “Ghetto Rock”.

Loyalty is something that is hard to come by, but once it happens friends will ride with each other no matter what the case. In this particular case, attacking West has brought about the fury of Def and although he may come off as quiet, don't let the movie roles ever get it twisted. Behind all the flashing lights, he is still from Brooklyn.
