2 Chainz continues his grind in 2012, where he left off in 2011. The Atlanta rapper recently sat down with ThisIs50 and discussed everything from his introduction as a member of Playaz Circle to his new gig as an A&R on Luda's forthcoming new album, Ludaversal.

We also get a look at T. Boy and producer extraordinaire Jazze Pha in the lab discussing the collab they have on the way. Nothing wrong with this combo at all, except for the fact that they may hear from PETA at some point.

Ludacris' LudaDay Weekend Block Party

Ludacris and his onslaught of celebrity friends are continuing to take over Atlanta for the rapper's annual LudaDay Weekend.

The DTP head and face of SOUL headphones, took over Clark Atlanta University alongside Basketball Wife Meeka Claxton, Carmelo Anthony and Angela Simmons Saturday.

Luda and his guests partied with the college students and provided free food and drinks while famed DJ, DJ Holiday played host.

Also in the building were members of Black Hollywood including actor Lance Gross, Keshia Knight Pulliam and the lovely Tika Sumpter.

HipHopWired was in the building and caught interviews with the basketball wife as well as famed producer Sean Garrett.

While those interviews are coming soon, our friends at ATLNightSpots captured some pictures of yesterday's festivities.

Check out Ludacris' LudaDay Weekend block party below.

LudaDay Weekend Trailer

Ludacris will takeover Labor Day Weekend for the 6th Annual LudaDay Weekend in Atlanta, GA.

LudaDay Weekend is a series of events widely supported by not only the City of Atlanta, but by celebrities, tastemakers and key influencers from across the country.

LudaDay Weekend serves as a platform to give back to the community that supports Ludacris and his many successful endeavors.

"We're 6 years strong, and each year gets bigger and better than the year before. I'm honored to be able to give back to the community that supported me from day one," says Bridges.

Every year Ludacris, DTP and The Ludacris Foundation does a special give-back to the community, and this year is no different.

They have partnered with the Atlanta Braves to giveaway 1,000 tickets to the Braves vs. Washington Nationals game on Thursday, September 1st, at Turner Field.

The tickets are being given away for free to various schools and Atlanta-area youth organizations to enjoy a day of family fun courtesy of Ludacris.

Atlanta Rapper 4-Ize Investigated Over Sticker Campaign

In the words of Atlanta rapper and former DTP affiliate, 4-ize, "Must be a slow day in Atlanta news when they reporting on my 4 year old sticker demo."

If you drive in the city of Atlanta on a regular basis there is a chance you will see the red and white stickers that have been up for quite some time on traffic signs that simply read "4-ize."

A CBS Atlanta news crew counted close to 100 of those stickers on the Flat Shoals Road exit ramp off I-20 east. The news crew found the stickers posted on signs at 11 different intersections. CBS Atlanta had to Google the rapper to find out who he was and after viewing his website they saw statements where he brags about the stickers.

Now that drivers have complained and a statement from the Atlanta's Public Works Department deemed the promotion illegal, expect some action to be taken against 4-ize. Who would have thought that after all these years the promotional tool would still work?

Ludacris Crowns Winners Of Magnum Live Large Campaign

After more than 200,000 YouTube votes, four regional contests and plenty of Magnum®-sized rhymes, the makers of Trojan® Brand Condoms and Ludacris have announced the five winners of the Magnum® "Live Large" Project 2.

As previously reported, Luda teamed up with the condom brand to search for the best freestyle rap artist in the country.

On Sunday Luda took the stage at Miami's spring fest Sunday alongside the emcees before 20,000 waiting fans.

Rappers Marv Won from Detroit, PH from Brooklyn, N.Y., LMS from Miami, Prince EA of St. Louis and Dirtbag Dan from San Jose, Calif., topped a talented field of nearly 1,800 emcees to be crowned this year's champions.

The project gives emerging musicians the opportunity to show the world how they exude the Magnum® "live large" lifestyle every day by taking care of business, pleasure, their partner and themselves.

Speaking on the ‘Live Large' winners, Luda released a statement saying,

"I know first-hand how it was being an aspiring artist, and I'm a firm believer in the Magnum® 'Live Large' Project and the opportunity the makers of Magnum® Condoms are giving these emcees. Their hard work is finally paying off and I can't wait to see them show the world how they 'live large' on the big stage in Miami."

The Magnum® "Live Large" Project is part of an ongoing commitment from the makers of Magnum® Condoms to provide a variety of audiences with the tools they need to enjoy a sexually healthy lifestyle.

As part of Major League Baseball's Civil Rights Game Week, DTP King Ludacris will have a one hour headline performance on May 14th at Atlanta's Turner Field.

The event, which runs from Thursday, May 12th until Sunday, May 15th, is a week where MLB honors civil rights activists.

Ludacris spoke on his contribution to the cause, and shared what the performance meant to him.

“I'm a fan of baseball, and I am honored to be a part of MLB's family and tradition of being a pioneering organization for civil rights, social justice and equity," says Luda.

"I have studied the strides made in baseball and in sports, and the impact they have had on social issues affecting race and race relations in America. The Civil Rights Game Week is a celebration of those achievements and a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to continue leveling the playing field for all.”
