The Ghost provides an in studio video as he throws a few bars over Miguel's "Sure Thing" record. In a recent report, DMX said that the Ruff Ryders will be reuniting and going on tour very soon. The LOX and Eve were the last members that were due to sign on, so hopefully this becomes official in the coming weeks.

The Ruff Ryders compilation album is scheduled for release November 21, 2011 with a brand new video for “Freaky” the single features, Akon, Jadakiss, Mook and Shella.

Partnering with Fontana/Universal Distribution, Ruff Ryders Indy Inc. the compilation also features Ruff Ryder mainstays DMX, Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek, Eve, Swizz Beatz and Drag-On.

Debut Rap Albums To Go No. 1

J. Cole entered an elite class when his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Believe it or not, most of your favorite rappers didn't land at the top spot when their first album hits the stores.

Not Jay-Z, not Nas, not Eminem, not even Tupac and Biggie.

Ruff Ryders Owe $1 Million In Taxes!

In order to get DMX, Eve, Drag-On and the rest of the Ruff Ryders crew, the label used old-fashioned street team tactics that involved stickers and posters.

According to the NY Daily News, the house Dee and Wah built owes the city of New York more than $1 million for plastering promo posters.

Finance Commissioner David Frankel, told the press that the label imprint based in Yonkers put up 3,400 illegal posters.

I'm not sure how these fines work and I'm surprised a label like Def Jam isn't at the top of the list for illegal promo items. Maybe they paid their bill while the Ryders didn't.

Either way, the Ruff Ryders have recently sparked things up again so hopefully they can generate money to take care of this tax debt.

Rapper Eve is the subject of new promo pictures as she preps her new Lip Lock album.

As previously reported, Eve's been slowly but surely working her way back into the music scene, most recently performing at the National Breast Cancer Coalition's benefit concert to an array of waiting fans.

And while the pitbull in a skirt won't be releasing her highly anticipated album till early 2012, she's keeping fans at bay with new promo pictures.

As promised Eve performed at the National Breast Cancer Coalition's benefit concert last night to an array of waiting fans.

The 4th Annual Open A.I.R: "Artist In Residence" Summer Concert took place in New York and featured a live Ustream for fans across the globe who missed Evey Eve in the flesh.

Eve rocked a head to toe black ensemble complete with leather leggings and a matching black hat while performing her hits like "Who's That Girl."

Rapper and actress Eve Jeffers' gated house that she bought in 2005 for $1,775,000 was sold for $1.33 million.

The original price she was asking for was $2.3 million but the market is so bad she had to take a $400,000 loss.

The 32-year-old entertainer has done everything from selling millions of records to having her own television show and starring in films. A little half a million dollar loss won't hurt her.

Although she's been busy with her own music, Eve took time to weigh in on the war of words between the two MCs, explaining that Kim needs to stop fueling the fire of Nicki.

“I need her to stop. If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. Because she's Kim, period. So she never has to feed. She shouldn't.  It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you. So that's it.”

She also gave props to Nicki for holding it down for the ladies in the rap game.

“I love it. You know, it's definitely a nice group of females that's out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop,” she continued. “Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that's how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I'm loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There's too much testosterone in the hip-hop game.”

The Philly native also made sure to give an update on her delayed album Lip Lock, revealing that she'll be dropping her new single “Mama's In The Kitchen” featuring Swizz Beatz in the next few weeks.

“I did another record called ‘Mama's in the Kitchen' with Swizz that is ridiculous. In the next couple of weeks, I'ma let this burn for a minute and then I'm going to drop that record."
