I can understand campaigning for presidency, asking people to buy an album, I even get lobbying for likes on Facebook or Twitter followers, but Wale is on a mission to get The Source Magazine to give him a 5 Mic rating for Ambition.

Is he delusional? He's been calling this LP classic for awhile now and I know Kanye did that with College Dropout, but he backed it up.

I'm not saying Ambition isn't great or anything, if you're a Wale fan then maybe it's right up your alley. But I don't know how this campaign is supposed to work. Maybe the staff at The Source will see this video and like the music more...

50 Cent spoke with Global Grind about his mission to feed one billion Africans with his "Street King" drink campaign.

50 originally set out to match a million likes on the Street King Facebook page with a meal but he is raising the ante to feed one billion people in need of food in the continent.

Here's an excerpt from the interview.

Global Grind: What made you want to feed a million Africans?

50 Cent: I was touring in Africa and the circumstances I grew up in, I thought they were harsh, and in the past I make references to my experiences, as I'm from the bottom. And then when you get there, you see people under far harder circumstances. It even makes you look at yourself and some of the decisions you made based on being in the position that I was in at that point. It made me reevaluate my own experiences. It's easier to see someone else's imperfections then it is to see your own.

50 also claims that he is readying a new LP scheduled for early December.

A Philadelphia man who was the target of an alleged Facebook hit issued by his ex-girlfriend has been found dead.

Corey White, 22, was reportedly killed only hours after felony charges were upheld by a judge against his ex and while the person charged with accepting the online hit was locked up, leaving authorities at a loss.

According to authorities, White was shot once in the torso after getting into an argument with occupants of another car on a West Philadelphia street.

According to the homicide investigation, the man he was arguing with got out of the car and shot him.

Authorities are still searching for suspects.

As previously reported, White's girlfriend London Eleye was charged with solicitation of murder after posting “I will pay somebody a stack to kill my baby father,” on her FaceBook wall.

Timothy Bynum, 18, who typed back that he would accept the proposition, is facing murder solicitation and weapons charges.

Publisher Bluewater Productions Inc. released "Fame: Tiger Woods" today online, in book stores and comic book shops.

The line of comics profile different celebrities and tell the story of their rise to fame and how they deal with it. C.W. Cooke wrote the book on Tiger and it was illustrated by Marcelo Salaza.

"Tiger Woods is, in most respects, the most famous golfer of all time. He may have had some recent troubles, but his life is one filled with very interesting tidbits," said Jason Schultz, Bluewater's executive vice president.

Man Updates Facebook During 16 Hour Standoff

A Utah man stymied police officers for over 16 hours during hostage situation, while updating his Facebook status and getting information from his Facebook friends that helped him.

Jason Alverez, 36, held a woman at gunpoint during an overnight hostage situation at a Salt Lake City hotel. He had barricaded himself in the hotel with the hostage after officers attempted to serve him with a drug warrant.

The SWAT team surrounded the building in an attempt to coax him out. The whole time however Alverez was updating his Facebook page.

“I'm currently in a standoff … kinda ugly, but ready for whatever,” Valdez wrote in his first post. “I love u guyz and if I don't make it out of here alive that I'm in a better place and u were all great friends.”

Valdez later posted two pictures of himself and the alleged hostage with a cation saying

"Got a cute `Hostage' huh”.

After a friend noted that a SWAT team member was hiding in some brush, Alvarez posted:

“Thank you homie. Good looking out.”

During the standoff, Alvarez made a total of six new posts and added several friends.

In the last post, Alvarez wrote: 

"Well i was lettin this girl go but these dumb bastards made an attempt to come in after i told them not to, so i popped off a couple more shots and now were startin all over again it seems …”

Several minutes later the SWAT team stormed the building and Alvarez reportedly shot himself with the handgun.

He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

He now faces a slew of new charges stemming from the kidnapping.

Police are discussing whether to charge some of Alvarez's Facebook friends with obstruction of justice.

Apparently, DeAndre has had enough.

Super producer Pharrell Williams is partnering with United Entertainment Group to bring the world a new brand entitled, "I Am Other."

According to Variety, I Am Other brand is a content driven concept aimed at spotlighting the newest music, artists, trends and innovators.

If you're uncertain what that is, it sounds like The N.E.R.D leader is using his star power and influence to get his Facebook and Twitter fans to spend money on products he's endorsing and people he's pushing.

But for a more accurate statement, Pharrell stated, "The first installment is about delivering those experiences through products, excursions, anything that is tangible to a human that can make their life easier."

Well that easy life can be viewed on his BBC Ice Cream blog, as Pharrell posted some photos of his massive yacht. Take a look at some of the snapshots on the next few pages.

Lil Wayne proved that he is more popular than cookies Wednesday by setting the Guinness World Record for most Facebook "Likes" on a post in 24 hours right after Oreo etched their name in the record books.

Oreo's post went out urging fans to help them set the record for most likes in one day.

Five hours later, Wayne reached out to his 20 million fans on the social network and they responded.

Oreo ended up with 114,619 likes giving them the record and a ceremony in their honor.

When the Young Money general's time was up, he buried the cookie company with 588,243 likes.

There is no word if Wayne had to register with Guinness before the actual feat took place, and a Kraft rep declined to comment.

Mazy Kazerooni, Lil Wayne's digital manager, says that the idea was to show Wayne's social media influence, “I want people to think ‘Bieber, Gaga and Lil Wayne.' The traffic we do is ridiculous and no one really knows.”

They know now.

Maybe a collaboration with Oreo might be on the way.

Cee Lo Joining Rihanna On 'LOUD' Tour

Judith E. Scott-Booker and her daughter Brianna Smith have been charged with felony aggravated battery after attacking and stabbing Tiffany Scott  twelve times for a Facebook comment Scott's daughter made calling Smith's newborn “ugly”.

Police reports state that Smith and her mother went to Scott's home to confront Smith about the malicious post and that's when things turned ugly.

Instead of coming to a resolution, things escalated and became violent after Brianna Smith became physically violent and attempted to hit Scott's daughter.

Scott says she ordered the mother and daughter out of her home but 15 minutes later the two came back and stabbed her as she was heading towards her car.

"I didn't even know I had been stabbed until I was back inside my house,” Tiffany Scott said. “There was blood everywhere.”

The girls, who have reportedly been friends for years, both live in the Briarcliff townhouse subdivision but became friends in the fourth grade in Carol Stream.

Tiffany Scott said she moved into the Wheaton cul-de-sac about six years ago, while Scott-Booker moved there just two days before the stabbing.

"I could have died. I keep playing it back in my head. This is someone who has followed me around and for years tried to befriend me," Scott said. "I still don't understand why she did this. She's toxic."

As of press time, Brianna Smith could not be reached for comment, but her Facebook page posting, hours after the Sept. 3 attack accused a cane-toting Tiffany Scott and her daughter of instigating the confrontation when appearing at her doorstep.

Smith apologized that someone was hurt but said on Facebook, "that's the price we all pay when we play silly games."
