Already one of 2012's most anticipated albums, Big Sean gives an update on the forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. The Detroit rapper also speaks on a new mixtape he will be releasing near top of the new year, as well the follow-up to his Finally Famous debut.

Recently named The Rookie of The Year by The Source, 2012 is shaping up to be another great year for the "My Last" rapper.

Big Sean announced he is embarking on an ‘I Am Finally Famous World Tour' with special guests Cyhi The Prince and Shawn Chrystopher.

The 2-month, 30-city tour begins on October 2nd in North Carolina and ends in Los Angeles, California. The Detroit G.O.O.D Music emcee is riding high after releasing his debut album Finally Famous which debuted at #3 on Soundscan and his single, "My Last" is certified gold.

Finally Famous rapper Big Sean recently addressed the his arrests after being accused of sexual assault following a show in Buffalo, New York, earlier this month.

During a recent interview with radio host Tim Westwood, Sean said what little he could about the case, which he said should be taken care of in a few weeks.

“Man, shit that was just some little minor shit man. I really want to talk about it too and go through the details, but my lawyer says I can't talk about it til it's all said and done. But I'd be happy too,” Big Sean explained.

G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean, who has had a breakthrough year with his hit single "My Last" and debut album Finally Famous, recently performed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

The Detroit rapper was backed by legendary Hip-Hop group and Jimmy Fallon's house band The Roots and performed two tracks, "I Do It" and "Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay," from his Finally Famous debut.

The performance was Sean's second appearance on the show, but first since he's now finally famous, if you will.

Back in the days, when someone took your style it was war. DMX and K-Solo beefed over the spellbound flow, Tupac claimed Biggie stole his morbid content and when Fabolous came out, Mase had his issues with the lazy punchline-heavy delivery of the BK rapper.

But it's a new day and although Finally Famous emcee Big Sean is supposedly credited with the "one word punchline" flow that seems to have every artist "getting down...basement," Drake stole the spotlight as the originator.

Sean, however isn't mad nor is he making a brazen attempt to set the record straight, but on Big Boy's radio show he did let fans know where the style came from.

On his mixtape in 2009, the Detroit emcee recited, "I'm supa dupa troopa/Used to the bottom, scuba...I just gave them line after line after line, barcode."

After some prodding, he admitted a tad bit of saltiness in the beginning, “At first, I was like, ‘Man, this crazy! Everybody doing this!' But then I thought about it and I was like, that's not the way to be. You gotta keep it G, man. G's don't get mad. G's is like, that's what it is. They congratulate you. I changed the game, so I'ma keep changing the game. It is what it is.”

Yes we all know Big Sean is a G and even though a war between him and Drake would have been painfully entertaining, lucky for us they are cordial and cool.

The tracklisting for Big Sean's long-awaited debut album, Finally Famous, was released today.

The album, which is scheduled to be released on June 28th, is set to feature Kanye West, Chris Brown, Roscoe Dash, John Legend, Wiz Khalifa, Chiddy Bang, The Dream, Dwele and Rick Ross.

Chicago producer No I.D. handles the bulk of the production for the album, which also features production by The Neptunes, Boi-1da, Xaphoon Jones and Exile.
