Mahogany Miller, a woman claiming to be Flo's assistant, has filed a lawsuit against his less than minimal wages.

Miller claims she worked over 65 hours a week, answered phones, and organized mail along with several other duties  and was only paid $3.08 an hour according to the lawsuit.

According  TMZ, Miller's suit states that she started in August and when she confronted Flo Rida about his slave wages and a bump in pay, she was fired in less than 24 hours.

Miller is suing for unspecified damages and Flo has yet to respond.

Pretty sure a club walk-through by Flo would more than settle the difference.

In her suit, Miller -- who claims she started the gig back in August -- alleges she eventually confronted her boss over the long hours and low wages ... and she was FIRED less than 24 hours after raising the issue.

Miller is suing for unspecified damages. Calls to Flo have not been returned.

The Bawse Rick Ross kicked of his New Year's celebration with a huge bash at club Cameo in Miami.

Presented by Moet and Hennessy, Rozay was surrounded by his friends Flo Rida, Mike Epps and his wife Mechelle Epps, DJ Khaled, Pleasure P and his own MMG crew Magazeen, Torch, and Stalley.

After counting down to midnight along with thousands of fans, Ross treated the crowd to a mini-concert featuring his hits "Maybach Music," "Bossy Lady," and Khaled's "I'm On One" as his table drank Moet Rose and Hennessy.

Also on hand was 2012's most expensive VIP table – a $100,000 table which was purchased by a British businessman who wishes to remain anonymous – which was hosted by The Bawse and came complete with 50 bottles of Moet Rose.

After Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne concert in Miami, Trey Songz hosted a party at The 400 Club at Mokai in Miami Beach.

Flo Rida, Jadakiss, Fabolous and Pleasure P came out to the event.

Flo Rida missed a scheduled performance at Australia's Newcastle Fat As Butter Festival over the weekend after reportedly arriving late and possibly being too intoxicated to perform.

According to the promoters of the event, the “Get Low” rapper arrived way past the arranged time to perform and was not “in a suitable condition to perform.”

Promoters of the show, who say they paid Flo several month's in advance, took to their FaceBook page to explain Rida's abscense.

“The club did everything in its power to meet the needs of Flo Rida and his management. From the demands for late specialty items in his dressing room, to offering to pay all transport expenses to get him and his entourage to the venue (after his own arrangements supposedly fell through)…Many promises were made and broken by Flo Rida and his management last night. And every time we got our hopes up that he was in transit to the venue, we would find out that he had not in fact left his hotel room. The most difficult part was then turning him away from the Club when he finally arrived nearly 3 hours after he was due on stage. We did not believe he was in a suitable condition to perform.”

Flo Rida later explained the situation in statement to his fans saying,

“Australian fans, I was looking forward to performing for you but due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn't able to do so last night."

It was also reported that the rapper's hotel room was raided by police after they smelled the odor of marijuana. Australian authorities reportedly found weed, a Viagra pill and a tazer. Flo's personal assistant Dakari Phillips was taken into custody and released.

In it he speaks on getting his start at Poe Boy, musical influences, and also discusses what it was like to hear his song on the radio for the first time.

The hitmaker opened Opium Nightclub to celebrate with family and friends including his twin sister and entire IMG, Strong Arm, POE Boy fam.

Monday's event was Flo Rida's South Florida celebration since everyone wasn't able to attend his birthday party in Brazil this past weekend.

In addition to partying at the Casino, Flo also showed off a new look; a completely bald head.

Everyone take cover! Big, bad Uncle Ice-T is pissed off with Hip-Hop again.

In his upcoming VH1 documentary, Planet Rock, the Original Gangster took his frustrations with rap culture out on Rick Ross for being a "fake" rapper and talked about the days when rap and Pop didn't cross paths, saying:

"Rap was a counterculture that went against pop. But when you have Rihanna singin' on your records and you're doin' records with Katy Perry, that's no longer rap.

"It's pop music, pop using rap delivery. When you hear Lil Wayne sayin' ‘I got a chopper in the car,' you go, ‘Yeah, right you do.‘”

We get it Uncle T, Rick Ross used to be an correctional officer, but so what, we like his music, so get over it.

And when it comes to rap being Pop music, we actually like that too.

It's not 1980's anymore, when rappers used to rap about killing cops and gang bangin'. Well ok, they still do rap about killing cops and gang bangin', but that's not the point.

It's a new day in Hip-Hop. Nowadays it's acceptable for a rapper to do a song with Katy Perry or Rihanna and still be considered Hip-Hop.

It's ok to have fun, party, pop bottles and sing about love.

Instead of downing artists for crossing over and expanding rap into different genres of music, we should embrace them.
