Freddie Gray’s autopsy report was obtained by the Baltimore Sun yesterday (June 23). According to the details, Gray suffered a “high-energy injury,” to the neck and spine, likely brought on by riding in the police van, which abruptly changed directions several times.
Now that all the police officers who had a hand in killing Freddie Gray are being properly dealt with, the city of Baltimore can focus on recovering from the riots that were prompted from the details of the murder.
Just because national news outlets are no longer camping out in Baltimore doesn’t mean the death of Freddie Gray has become a secondhand priority.

Earlier today, state attorney of Maryland, Marilyn J. Mosby, announced that six Baltimore Police officers received charges in relation to the death of Freddie Gray.
The death of Freddie Gray has been ruled a homicide. According to the state attorney of Baltimore, Marilyn J. Mosby, there, was “probably cause” to prosecute cops for Gray’s death, which was the result of a spinal chord injury, for charges including manslaughter, assault and second degree murder.
The Baltimore police department completed its investigation into the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray and handed over its findings to the state’s attorney. However, said finding won’t be shared with the public anytime soon.
