You knew the man was in bad shape when he started to degrade his own private parts, but never have I ever seen anyone slip up so much to say they had sex with someone's dad.  You sir receive a fail of the week for not only saying the line, but having the nerve to try and justify it.  EPIC FAIL!

For some like T.I. and Lil Wayne, the end result is usually something to look forward to, but unfortunately for others, they just look somewhat stupid and people pray that they didn't really write down the ignorance that came out their mouth.

Pusha T, half of the Clipse, responds to the idea of “freestyling” records, as he is a rapper that takes the time out to actually pen down his thoughts and craft them into songs he develops.

For those that boast about not writing, Pusha states that the idea is actually pretty stupid to him as most aren't as good as they believe at freestyling and they are actually taking away from themselves when the final product is done.

Speaking with Artist Direct, the Virginia rapper elaborates on his qualms with some rappers that aren't with writing rhymes anymore.

"To me, not too many people are good at freestyling. Everyone always talks about how they freestyle lyrics. Freestyling lyrics with no depth is stupid to me. That's corny. I can do that. I've done it, and it's never as detailed as it could be. Someone like Jay Z that does that has mastered it. People try to mimic, but they don't understand, you can mimic the process but you have to master it to have that type of effect.”

Artists such as Drake and Nicki Minaj have been scrutinized for writing down rhymes, but let's be honest:  How many rappers can actually rap off the top and sound good?  There are too many that leap off that cliff and plummet to their death.

Trust me guys, there's nothing wrong with thinking before speaking, you're not simple animals.

"How Low"

Now there are certain moments in life where a person's choice of actions must be questioned, no matter what type of fame they have accrued while in the public eye.

Under the chopping block today will be Chicago rapper Twista, who made a dedication record to those in Haiti.

For the past week, the rapper has been dropping freestyles on a daily and here is the one for Wednesday.

Courtesy of 2dopeboyz.okayplayer.com, the leak of the song came with a message that was apparently from the rapper, unless I'm suffering a momentary blindness.

“I dedicate this freestyle to the people of Haiti. People let's unite and help those people in need. Everybody who downloads this freestyle all I ask is that you forward this message.” Twista

Now there's nothing wrong with reaching out to those in need, but of all the songs to use, why would it be this one?  And to top it all off, there wasn't even mention of anything that had to do with Haiti.  This was a great opportunity to at least bring awareness through music.  Life is a chess game and Twista might have put himself into check.

“What happened to Gangsta Grillz 2?”

There have been a lot of contenders in Hip Hop that have left listeners disappointed as they have yet to release their new material.

Cam'Ron was supposed to release the sequel to his DJ Drama-assisted mixtape, Boss Of All Bosses, on January 4, but according to the camp of Killa, they don't even know why the tape hasn't been put out or what the holdup is.

What better way to find out the reason than to get it from the horse's mouth?  With that said, Cam makes a phone call to DJ Drama in order to find out about the delay.

“On the real, let me call Drama right now cuz I aint gonna front, n*ggas is pissed off about that sh*t not coming out.”

Acknowledging the fact that the streets have been anticipating the tape, Drama states that he has been busy with other priorities, but he is in the process and people can't rush perfection.

The new date for Boss Of All Bosses 2 is expected to be next Monday or Tuesday.  Let's cross our fingers.

“Turn off the beat man, turn off the beat.”

Canibus is a rapper whose career never catapulted to where it should have gone due to his inability to fully embrace and utilize his talent.

Recently, he had some words for Invasion Radio when they asked him to freestyle alongside his Undergod partner, Keith Murray.  After Murray shredded through an instrumental and set up the alley for the rapper, Canibus declined.

The mood seemed to change after the DJ jokingly stated that she had a hot 16 to kick.

“Yo don't disrespect and say you have 16 bars.  That's what I'm saying man.  You have to have respect for men who rock rhymes all day and all night.  It's a game to you.  I've been vocaling and doing shows for four weeks, then I come up here and just look at me like, ‘Yo, spit somethin'.”

Going on somewhat of a diva tirade, the rapper added that rapping is up to the rapper and no one can just force a rapper to drop some bars just because they want to hear them.

“If anybody wanna rhyme, we just rhyme and if we don't wanna rhyme, we don't rhyme.  You can't push one way or the other, you have to just chill too.”

He also spoke on how he has bled himself dry for the craft and for the fans and has not been able to hold anything for himself.

“I give Hip-Hop everything and don't keep nothing to myself.”

Talk about a way to throw off his own promotion, the rapper that once feuded with LL Cool J has been off the radar for quite some time so the world of Hip-Hop has high expectations.  It only makes sense to give listeners just a sample outside of the upcoming album.

It's not like they were trying to get him to tap dance in Black face or anything.

To say fame got to his head would be inaccurate, solely based on the fact that he was never THAT big in the mainstream and essentially faded into obscurity.  The talent is there, without a doubt, but he has lacked the willingness to push himself over the bar when opportunity presents itself.

A person only has so many chances.
