Amber Rose Disses Funk Flex

Industry girlfriend Amber Rose had some harsh words for Funkmaster Flex yesterdaywhile being interviewed on Hot 97 by Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenburg.

“I hate Funkmaster Flex,” Rose told the morning show. “He's a total d*ck. He's an a**hole.”

Rose explained her beef with Flex saying the DJ is “rude and ignorant” and talks about people behind their backs.

She did however agree to sit down with the radio host if he felt up to it.

Chris Brown recently took to MTV2' "Funk Flex Full Throttle" to show off more of his rhyme skills and debuted a new freestyle.

Standing alongside Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex, Chris laid down bars saying,

"It's like I traveled to another dimension/Cause shawty got my soldier standing at attention/I'm like yeah it's the battle of the sexes/I got her legs wrapped around my neck like a necklace..."

Joe Budden: “I Never Hit Esther Baxter”

Esther Baxter and Joe Budden's break up turned tumultuous after Joe released Ordinary Love Part 3 last week. Esther had an exclusive interview with Bossip.com where she expressed her side of the story, her miscarriage, their domestic violence experience and the truth about how their relationship ended.

In that interview, Esther claimed that Joe "put his hands on her" and resulted in the loss of their child. Joe went on Hot 97 and spoke to Funkmaster Flex about the allegations and said, “If the subject matter were true at all, then I'd have been sitting there like anybody else saying ‘Jesus, this guy's a monster, this guy's the devil here on earth.'”

The Slaughterhouse rapper went on to say, “It' s a bunch of lies. Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies. For the record, just so we're totally clear, I never hit Esther. Never, ever, ever, ever.”

Budden claims that she would not have returned to him if he would have abused her. Esther, however states that they broke up on the night he laid hands on her. “You don't do all the things that she says that I did and then come right back to the same man.”

Of the court documents, Joe says they wrote down what was told and the photos were altered. What do you think?

Funkmaster Flex, Wife Separate

Monica Joseph-Taylor respectfully released a statement to urbanmag-online.com announcing her and her husband of 18 years, Aston Taylor, known to the music world as Funkmaster Flex are taking a relationship break.

"We have tremendous love and respect for each other, and will continue to work on our professional projects together," said Monica.

"Our top priority has and will always be our children! I personally ask that the press keep in mind Flex is the celebrity, not myself or my children, please respect our privacy!"

The split comes a month after Flex's arrest for criminal charges on an unknown woman and a week after receiving threats from rival radio station, Power 105.1 FM's Breakfast Club for defending his colleague, Mister Cee.

There is some speculation if the beef with the 105.1 disc jockeys had anything to do with Mrs. Taylor's reason for separating since the threats aimed at Flex warned him that their evidence would break up his home.

After the controversy surrounding the Mr. Cee altercation, Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex sent out a subliminal shot towards Power 105.1's Breakfast Club morning show.

However, the Breakfast Club was not so subliminal with their response, taking a direct shot at Flex during Charlemagne Tha God's "Donkey of the Day" segment.

Playing the clip from Funk Flex's show last night, Charlemagne responded with straight bullets, saying that it's not their problem that Flex's friend likes Trannies, and if they want to beef, they will end it quickly with pictures of Flex that will ruin his family.

"You the big bad wolf in the city huh, you like to huff and puff and blow cities down huh? You can huff and puff but lets be real, the only thing being blown down is ya boy Mr. Cee by Trannies."

Charlemagne continues his rant on Flex saying that if he really wants to get involved in a beef, The Breakfast club will be sure to end it quickly.

"We can play however you want to play, these pictures we got can absolutely break up a happy home. We can leave it where its at, or we can go, and you don't want to go where these pictures will take it."

Funkmaster Flex Defends Mr. Cee, Lashes Out At Power 105.1 [Audio]

Legendary NY DJ Funkmaster Flex took to the radio last night to defend his friend and co-worker DJ Mr. Cee.

As previously reported, Cee was arrested last Wednesday for public lewdness and exposure of a person after reportedly being caught receiving service from a male prostitute.

On Monday, the “Breakfast Club” of rival station Power 105.1 taunted the DJ and named him the “Donkey Of The Day” for his misfortune.

An obviously upset Funkmaster Flex later took the mic at Hot 97 to address the situation and sent subliminal shots at the rival staff.
After dropping several bombs, an irate Funk Flex seemed to issue a warning that he was ready to expose a Power 105 employee.

“I will lose a friendship today, I know everything that goes on in that building!

I know everything that moves in that building, I know what people like and don't like that are on the mic and off the mic and you all y'all over there know exactly what I'm talking about.

I will lose a friendship because I stand next to this logo!!!”

He also added,

“You wanna go? You make sure you're ready to go, you make sure you're ready to move that's one thing. …It's not my fault you can't get hot, this radio thing I'm built for it. Unfortunately you're not…Make sure you think if you wanna go!”

Funkmaster Flex Arrested Again For Allegedly Assaulting Another Woman

Funkmaster Flex was arrested today after a Westchester woman accused the NY Hot 97 radio personality of pushing her, breaking her phone and leaving harrassing messages.

According to TMZ, Flex was arrested and arraigned after having left the scene of the alleged incident.

Released on $500, Flex, whose real name is Aston Taylor, received a restraining order, and will appear at a hearing later this month.

Having a record of beating up women, in 2002 he was charged for choking and assaulting fellow radio personality Stef Lova.

Flex eventually copped out to a lesser charge of harassment.

It looks as if "DJ Ike Turner" strikes again.

Funkmaster Flex Speaks On Tupac Rant

Hot 97 personality and DJ Funkmaster Flex recently came under harsh criticism after video footage surfaced of him dissing 2Pac.

In the 30 second footage, you see flex on stage telling fans to “get off 2Pac's d*ck” and that he is “tired of people riding 2Pac's d*ck” and “overlooking” the talent of the Notorious B.I.G.

After being criticized by 2Pac fans, Flex decided to clear up any misunderstandings on his radio show last night.

On his show, Flex states that the rant caught on camera wasn't random nor was his words meant to be a diss, but he was just speaking how he felt.

“Let me clear this up, I respect 2Pac,” Funkmaster Flex said. “But I also feel like he brought a lot of negativity to the game with his beefs and disses when he was alive.”

Flex also made it clear that his feelings were not jaded because of where he resides coast wise.

“It is no secret that a lot of people he dissed was from New York, but for me that's not what it was about,” Flex continued. “But I was also dissed, so I am not going to sit here and play like I think he was the best to me when he wasn't”

With all that said, we still remember Flex being quiet as a mouse a few years back when Suge Knight visited Hot 97. I guess it's safe to speak now...LOL

Although Jay-Z has been busy building his multimedia empire to promote his upcoming book and greatest hits collection, he decided to take some time out and sign underground emcee Jay Electronica to Roc Nation.

According to published reports, Jay-Z announced the partnership Friday (November 13) at an event at The Box in New York. Not one to withhold information from fans, Jay Electronica did drop a hint via Twitter earlier in the day.

“We not illuminati, but our mind's on the money.”
