A man has claimed that a Glaxo drug has turned him into a gay sex addict.

A 51-year-old married father is suing GlaxoSmithKline, claiming a drug of theirs for Parkinson's disease has turned him into a gambling and gay sex addict.

Didier Jambart, began taking Requip in 2003, which is used to treat Parkinson's disease.

However, Jambart's attorney said his client has attempted suicide three times since taking the drugs, after he lost his family's savings to Internet gambling that was caused by the prescribed pills.

Jambart alleges he also became a “compulsive gay sex addict and began exposing himself on the Internet and cross-dressing.”

These actions later on led to Jambart being “raped” months later.

He is seeking $610,000 in damages from Glaxo, and his neurologist who he says did not accurately warn him about the drug's potential side effects.

New York's State Senate has effectively obliterated the hopes of gay rights activists that wanted to see members of their community be able to wed within the state.

The move comes after Washington D.C. poised itself to become the next major metropolitan area to recognize the rights of gay men and women that wish to enter into worldly matrimony which came after a sweeping defeat of a similar effort in Maine.

Senators voted 24-38 against the measure, falling at a margin much wider than most pundits and supporters expected.

Currently, New York has no official rule on their legal ledger that allows civil unions but there are several court rulings and local actions that have given members of the gay and lesbian community the same rights straight couples enjoy.

Iowa, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont are the only states that allow gay marriage.

Larry Johnson's career as a Kansas City Chief is no more!

The 29-year-old running back was the superior lackluster NFL franchise, yet star power and talent was not enough to keep him on the team.

The decision, handed down swiftly by Chiefs management, comes just ten days away from Johnson's 30th birthday and 75 yards away from him breaking the team rushing record set by Priest Holmes.

“A part of him is excited and a part of him is very regretful,” said Johnson's agent Peter Schaffer to media. “It's analogous to breaking up with a girlfriend. Maybe you saw it coming, but it still hurts when it happens.”

Since being drafted to Kansas City out of Penn State in 2003, and something of a lightning rod for controversy, the star running back found himself suspended for four games after being accused of assaulting women at a Kansas City club. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years of probation.

Johnson was fined on October 25th after making disparaging remarks and anti-gay slurs on his Twitter account about Chiefs fans and coach Todd Haley.

It seems that a change of strategy was all too inevitable after gay and lesbian support groups were left reeling at the hands of Maine's citizenry. The new order of the day seems to call for a more personal approach to replace the forceful tone often associated with such groups.

Gay rights activists have taken an unprecedented step in revealing some of histories most polarizing figures little secrets, namely, that they were all apart of the lesbian, gay, or bisexual community.

A controversial article has many, especially those in the Black community, highly pissed off.

A writer for British newspaper, The UK Guardian, is asserting that revolutionary and Black activist, Malcolm X, engaged in a myriad of gay, sexual relationships and was bisexual.

Peter Tatchell gives “credence” to his claim by citing unreliable second-hand sources, claiming that members of Malcolm's family and several Black activists have worked tirelessly to cover his homosexual relationships while keeping the media unaware of the “full spectrum” of his sexuality.

Tatchell even pointed to instances, cited by other misguided writers, of accounts putting the Black Liberation and civil rights icon in a dress!

There is no doubt that everyone has secrets, but this man (and everyone else who has added to this nonsense) should feel the shame of one million liars for attempting to tarnish the name of a man that played a huge role in the securing of our rights as Black Americans.

Malcom X served as the fiery sword to Martin Luther King's dove; his work has never truly been appreciated in mainstream society, but he is appreciated and idolized by those who are benefiting from his contributions to a legendary movement.

One of our most proud Black leaders does not need to have his legacy besmirched, added to annals of unspoken, discredited Black leadership, all because one man is mad that he can't "marry" his old roommate from college.

The struggle by Black Americans for Civil Rights is not the same as the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) fight for the "right" to marry, and I am sorry for those that believe they are related in any way.

Bottom line, Malcolm X was an imposingly powerful and brilliant man in life, and he has surpassed legendary status in death. No man can take that away from him. Peter Tatchell is the worst kind of scum bucket, bottom-feeding, troglodyte resembling trash!

As*hole. . .

Voters on the East Coast have spoken, and their voice sounds very familiar.

Citizens of Maine have opted to repeal a state law yesterday that allowed same-sex couples to be married, adding validity to the ideology that marriage can only legally be between one man and one woman.

The stance is reminiscent of the one taken in California in favor of Proposition 8 nearly one year ago this month.

The move comes as a shock to gay-marriage supporters, who outspent their socially conservative opponents by $1.6 million in an effort to keep the proposal alive. It also serves as the first time voters have rejected a gay-marriage law enacted by a state legislature.

“The institution of marriage has been preserved in Maine and across the nation,” remarked Frank Schubert, chief organizer for Stand for Marriage Maine.

In all, 31 states have voted down any measure that would legalize marriage between people of the same sex. Iowa, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire have all validated the hot button issue; all did so via court rulings or the state legislative process.

Supporters were routing for Maine's law to be upheld, believing that it would add momentum to bills supporting the move in New Jersey and New York while all but securing another vote in California.

Instead, they are regrouping, waiting on another opportunity to present their case for equal rights under love. With their latest defeat, an uphill battle is turning into a situation of nearly insurmountable defeat, as 30 states have already approved banning gay marriage by adding amendments to their respective constitutions.

All 30 were granted by the people, to the people, via popular vote. . .
