Joey Bada$$ and his team may have to go over the concept of “timing” or the cliche “striking when the iron is hot.” In the wee hours of last night when most were participating in MTV VMAs slander, the Brooklyn rapper dropped “Killuminati Part. 2,” aka his Kendrick Lamar response.

Joe Budden kept his response to  Kendrick Lamar’s “Control (HOF)” in the same vein as the original. The Slaughterhouse member even attach his opinions to a list of the MCs namedropped in the TDE rapper’s verse and more. This included Joey Bada$$, who recently responded via Twitter.

Seems like Lupe Fiasco is going to milk this Kendrick Lamar situation for all it’s worth. Earlier this week he released “SLR 2” and today (August 18) the Chicago MC drops  “SLR 3 (Round Of Applause),” remaining in rappity rap mode.

Kendrick Lamar‘s “Control” verse managed to cause Styles P to threaten Joe Budden with the fade. Dot’s sound bombing over the well discussed and debated Big Sean record’s instrumental—”for Hip-Hop,” of course.

“Hey yo, Kendrick, good looking on that Summer Jam move,” says Papoose on his version of “Control.” “But you ain’t the king of sh-t!” And so it begins.
