After having his mic muted, and show cut short, Kid Cudi proceeded to destroy stage equipment at Australia's Heatwave Festival. Shortly thereafter, Cudder hit his Tumblr to explain his behavior.

"If my set is EVER cut short at any show, im trashing the stage. Not out of anger, it takes a lot to get me furious nowadays, but out of principle. The fans always deserve a full set at all shows, especially when they spend their hard earned money on expensive tickets.

A lot of artist wouldnt do what I did in Australia, but I will. Spread the word. No matter the circumstance, cut my set short, im breaking shit. And next time im startin a riot. Me and my fans. Cause promoters will sometime take advantage of the artists, and u gotta let em know what time it is. Cutting nobody any slack."— Rager

Whether or not he's serious, let's hope it never comes to that again. Cudi's new album with Dot Da Genius, WZRD, is available February 28th.

Kid Cudi Destroys Stage In Australia, Tracklist & Date For WZRD [Video]

Just as we report a G.O.O.D. Music comrade, Kanye West, headlining a show in Australia, we find another destroying one. Kid Cudi decided to show his displeasure with having his set cut short and his mic muted by wrecking the stage, literally. While it's natural for an artist to be upset, this isn't the first time Cudder's lost his cool at a show.

Aside from this fiasco, and a pushback, Cudder now has a release date for his new project; the collaborative album with producer Dot Da Genius, WZRD, will be released February 28th.

Video and Tracklist after the jump.

Kid Cudi's Alt Rock Debut WZRD Pushed Back

Kid Cudi fans anxiously awaiting on the former lonely stoner and his alternative rock project WZRD alongside “Day ‘n' Nite” producer Dot Da Genius will have to wait just a bit longer. Cudder's collaborator revealed that the band's self-titled debut will see a later release date.

A series of tweets from Dot Da Genius last evening (January 16) served as an update on the highly anticipated WZRD project, turning quickly into an apology to fans after Dot announced that the album won't be released on its originally intended January 30 date.

“Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it's almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us,” Dot Da Genius tweeted.

Dot followed with, “With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th.”

To satiate disappointed fans, Cudi and Dot will release a pair of iTunes singles, “Break” and “Teleport 2 Me” on the original album release date of January 30. Dot also tweeted that the duo will leak a track “DOSE OF DOPENESS” to the masses as well.

While Cudi didn't address the album delay on his timeline yesterday, the Cleveland native did tweet confidently about the project. “My whole career Ive had 2 prove people wrong, WZRD will be no different. This album will finally make people believers, WE CAN DO ANYTHING,” tweeted a proud Cudi.

Kid Cudi confirmed earlier in the month that WZRD will tour as a band, starting their journey in Europe.

This Can't Be Life: When Stage Crashing Goes Wrong

Let's be honest, we've all gotten a little hype while at a concert of our favorite artist. If you're not excited to see said artist perform, why pay for the ticket? Controlled enthusiasm is always encouraged. But, you never want to be "That Person," that had a little too much fun and became a star on TMZ, MediaTakeout, and of course, Bossip.

In some instances we see fans that get so excited, that they decide to make an appearance on stage with their favorite performer. Sharing that moment with your new bff can go extremely wrong as seen in a recent report by TMZ when an overzealous fan jumped on stage to share a bond, hug, or some sort of WWE Wrestling move with DMX. Of all people DMX is probably the LAST artist you should attempt to jump on stage to greet. I guess X didn't respond to that kite he sent him, while locked away in his most recent prison stint. While it wasn't the smartest of decisions as you'll see, I doubt he'd attempt it again. In the words of Kevin Hart, "You Gon' Learn Today!"

Naturally, this made us think about some of the best & worst instances of Stage Crashing. Continue on to see what happens when fans decided to say hello to Weezy, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Snoop and more.

HBO Cancels 'How To Make It In America'

Despite showing promise after a couple of seasons, today HBO announced that it is canceling 'How To Make It In America.'

The series followed the exploits of Ben Epstein (actor Bryan Greenberg) and Cam Calderon (Victor Rasuk), a pair of savvy NYC fashion designers on the come up who are steadily looking for their big break.

The now canceled show's Hip-Hop roots ran deep. Besides it's New York City backdrop, the cast also featured Kid Cudi, who's character Domingo Brown was getting significantly more screen time this last season. Also, Clipse member and G.O.O.D. Music solo rapper Pusha T also made cameos on the small screen during its second, and now last, season. The show's soulful theme song, "I Need A Dollar," became a hit for Cali singer (and rapper) Aloe Blacc.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the shows 'Hung' and 'Bored To Death' were also canned.

Should 'How To Make It In America' have been given more time to develop?

Kid Cudi Performs For Michael J. Fox's Benefit

Kid Cudi was on hand for a special cause this weekend with actor Michael J. Fox.

The actor who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991 hosted his annual 'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson's benefit.'

After taking the stage himself to revive his role as "Marty McFly" from Back To The Future on the guitar, Fox gave the reins to Cudi who played some hits of his own.

During Cudder's set he played hits from his first two albums including "Ghost."

Mr. Rager even came dressed for the occasion and donned a pilot jacket and Christian Louboutin loafers.
