T.I. releases his latest letter from the jailhouse through his website, Trapmuzik.com in support of new album No Mercy which hit stores today.

Similair to Lil' Wayne's Weezy Thanx You, fans are able to keep up with T.I.P and stay updated on his letters. In this installment the southern king gets emotional, and gives a special thanks to his supporters.

"So here it is...NO MERCY, the most honest and intimate installment of my life story as promised. Hope y'all enjoy it and it lives up to the very high standards I've set for myself or anyone who's to be considered one of the best."

T.I.P confesses the difficulty in the situation he's facing, but he lets us know that he's growing from it all.

"I must admit it takes a lot to go through as much as I have and still keep the love in your heart and in your art. But at the end of the day, if that's what it takes to produce the music that keeps the world of Hip-Hop evolving on it's axis....Then even the lowest of the lows of my life was all worth it.

Thanks again for your prayers, your time and attention. And remember....It does'nt matter how long it'll be before the next time you see me. What matters is that I'll be a better man before that time comes. The longer I sit, the smarter I get."

He proceeds to thank his fans, expressing his appreciation of all the letters he's received.

"I'd like to give a very special thank you to all the fans who've been writing me and lifting my spirits everyday. I read all of them. Although I would never be able to write you all back...I'd like to list as many of you individually as I can and thank the others collectively.

It's a relief to know that there still are people who see a man with a life and not just another headline in the news. Most of you sound very concerned and optimistic at the same time about my situation. Let me assure you all that I am deffenitely keeping my head up. I don't consider myself done by far. Also many of you are convinced as I am that God has a plan for me that he's preparing me for."

T.I. closes by revealing his growth in personal faith, and with the release of No Mercy today, he is already thinking about his next release.

"How do you tell God Almighty that all you wanna do is LIVE LIFE ??? What if all you wanna do is be a father to your kids, a husband to your wife, and son to your mother while providing insightful motivation through music and lending a helping hand when posible to those who need it most. Well guys...That's the topic of discussion between me and the MOST HIGH at the moment.

I'll keep you posted on how it turns out. Who knows maybe you can look foward to hearing the dialogue between us set to music on the next album...which I'll be announcing the official title no sooner than later. But until then, thanks again for all your understanding, love and support. Y'all take it light and be eazy.

- Love King."

With the August 17th release date of his King Uncaged album quickly approaching, T.I. is continuing his promo trail and speaking out on his incarceration.

The Bankhead rapper that was released from prison in December for felony weapon possession is voicing his opinion on the time he spent in an Arkansas federal prison.

According to Tip, his time behind bars hindered him from the positive path he was embarking on and added insult to injury.

The Grand Hustle head says he already understood what he did wrong and prison made him “worse” by preventing him from making any constructive changes.

He tells Complex,

“When I was goin' through it, I really felt like it added insult to injury. The lesson had already been learned. I already understood the errors in my ways and made the adjustments necessary. It did make me worse in a sense that, before I went in, I was already on a path of positivity. Putting me in prison took me off that path a little bit, and now I'm working to get back on that path—or at least back on the path to the extent that I was before I went in. I'm still not as bad as I was before this incident, but I lost a little bit of my positive focus during that period of incarceration. Being in that environment and having those daily surroundings, it's going to affect you."

When Complex references several instances on his Fawk A Mixtape project when the rapper says he's replaced the guns that led to his conviction with knives and is willing to “stab someone”, the man who told Larry King he was a “retired gangster” says the weapons are only meant for self defense.

“It's within your rights to do anything to protect your well-being, right? That's well within the law. If my life is being threatened, I have every right, legally, to protect my life and my loved ones. So that wouldn't be getting in trouble at that point. Everybody takes everything so literal and so…I don't know. You could spit on the concrete in public and get the same reaction: "Oh, I thought Tip was done getting in trouble. What is he doing spitting on the concrete? What is he doing jaywalking?" The best thing I can do is continue to live my life the best way I know how.”

Check out the rest of T.I.'s interview with Complex here.

There ain't nobody, nowhere in naan jail sayin' I was on they paperwork."

Just months after his release from an Arkansas prison, T.I. is still defending himself from allegations that he was a reported “snitch” that gave out information to federal officials in return for a lighter sentence.

Tip was sentenced to one year and one day in jail in March 2009 for felony weapons charges after prosecutors gave him a plea deal.

Along with the 366 days in jail, Tip was ordered to pay a $100,000 fine and complete 1,500 hours of community service, a deal typically unheard of for a convicted felon.

Tip says however that allegations that he snitched to get over are simply not true and he tells XXL that he was given “certain agreements” because of his helpful additions to society.

“What people don't take into consideration is the reason that I was eligible for certain agreements that they weren't eligible for was because I made myself a useful member of society…Most muthaFawkas catch cases and get time. My n*gga, you wasn't doing Shyte when you was out here, so wasn't no reason for them to keep you out here."

To make himself incredibly clear, Tip goes on to talk about the “G code.” According to Tip, those responsible for making the snitching allegations against him are in violation of the code especially considering that no jail has proof that he ever worked with them.

"Please understand the G code that I learned from, if you speak out your mouth that a muthaFawka is telling on somebody and you can't come with indisputable, irrefutable facts to support that statement, that makes you the sucker. You are now in violation of the G code. And there ain't nobody, nowhere in naan jail sayin' I was on they paperwork."

In the magazine's upcoming July/August cover story Tip made sure to add that he's still holding down his title of “King Of The South.”

“King Of The South did not exist before me. The term cannot be passed along until I choose to pass it along…”

Fresh out of jail for weapons charges and living in a halfway house, T.I. is seeing his name brought up in court documents once again.

The King of the South is being sued for his 2006 Grammy Award winning track “What You Know.”

According to court papers a man, Nathan Filby a.k.a. Motoe Blizzid, claims that “What You Know” uses portions of a song he released in 2004 titled “Reverence” leading Filby to file a copyright infringement lawsuit against him.

Filby claims that he distributed the song years ago to several people in the industry including an agent at Relentless Management, a management company believed to be affiliated with T.I.

In court documents he describes the songs as having the “same rate of harmonic range” and says the musical evidence is irrefutable down to the “virtually identical core harmonic progression of descending 4ths” and “nearly identical instrumental melodic lines in terms of pitch, shape, and rhythm.”

He ultimately wants a trial with a jury so that he may seek damages and a portion of all profits made from the song.

As T.I. continues to serve his one year and one day prison sentence, his fiancée Tiny is continuing to hold him down. She accepted two awards for the king at the BET awards in July and the Hip-Hop awards in October, all the while maintaining her status as his leading lady.

Now the usually quiet Tomeka Cottle is opening up about her relationship and confirming that she and T.I. are indeed getting married.

In a recent interview with XXL magazine, Tiny confirmed her wedding plans with her rapper boyfriend T.I. When asked about a specific date on the wedding, Tiny responded with,

"Sometime next year, but we can't really give a date yet because we have to find out exactly when Tip is coming home, we'll have to just plan around that, but I envision a fairy tale wedding."

When asked about whether they would be working on tracks together, Tiny responded with:

“As far as music together, well, we did one song and we just never really got back in the studio, but I can't say that you won't hear anything in the future. I don't want to give it out yet, I want to hold it to make sure we go in that direction. We have several things that we're talking about doing together, so we'll see how that works out."

Although incarcerated, Tiny explains that T.I has a full schedule and stays busy, as they both await for that 2010 release date.

With Tiny's background in music, as well as, T.I's super stardom, can we say the next Beyonce and Jay-Z?

(Ok, maybe not, but it will probably work better than Ashanti and Nelly!)

The 2006 shooting death of T.I.'s best friend and personal assistant, Philant Johnson, shook the rapper to his core. After a fight at a club in Cincinnati, T.I. and his entourage left in a fleet of vans to escape the escalating situation. While trying to leave amicably, the rapper and his crew were chased down and their cars were sprayed with bullets. The senseless act of violence left three people injured and Philant Johnson dead. Three years later, justice is finally being served.

41-year-old Padron Thomas, who was the driver of the opposing vehicle, pleaded guilty to manslaughter Wednesday. Initially charged with murder, Thomas received a lesser sentence after he testified against his brother. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 17th, where Thomas could face up to 10 years in prison. He's currently serving 17 years on unrelated federal drug charges.

His brother, Hosea Thomas, was sentenced to 66 years to life for the shooting. The convicted murderer will not be eligible for parole until 2074 when he's 100 years old.
