As previously reported Luda made headlines for his call to action at the National Press club luncheon before his foundation's annual benefit dinner. Now in light of his plight to give out money freely, a team of attorneys are taking him to court for unpaid legal fees.

 Carlton Fields P.A. is suing Cris and his foundation for $61,820. The law firm maintains that it defended him during a 2007 case for personal negligence and injuries. That case involved Ludacris, his foundation and his mother, Roberta J. Shields, versus Lawrence J. Hyde.

 The law firm began representation of the MC in March 2008 but ceased legal services in April 2009 after Cris failed to pay his outstanding balance.
